He has a lot of character and looks like a * of a human being.

I notice one thing: it appears that BR actually tries to put players against his ex clubs. Such as Hayes and Christie against Aberdeen, Mulumbu against Kilmarnock, Hendry against Dundee. And it usually works, they are surprisingly motivated. Think Hayes' only goal for us came against Aberdeen too.

If he can keep the level of performance he gave against the Sheep then he will be a quality squad player. He looked sharp and fit and had a fair bit of bottle. Kinda player we have missed in certain games as in the guy who rolls up his sleeves and gets stuck to * right in.

The area we will be weakest and pose the most threat to a victory for us ,not one for throwing in players who are not regulars for these games normally, I would say they have enough about them to take advantage of this ,if fit i would always go Izzy as he is more used to playing the role .

Apparently got off the team bus and then left the stadium 15 minutes after in his own car, does anyone know if the players know prior to going into the change rooms who's starting or not?

I find it strange he came on at left back against aberdeen and played well, then 3 days later wasn't in the squad against the huns and wasn't in the squad yesterday.

I was hoping when he came on at left back and done well we had found a new role for him. Playing well against the huns at left back could have done wonders for him and provided good back up for tierney.

In my humble opinion he should have played at Ibrox and Brendan * up there.

I work as Marvin Comppers personal trainer and he told me about it.... got a text about and seen some talk about it on the celticfan tv comment section. I'm not too sure why anyone would lie about it, but then again there are strange people out there. He would have every right to get angry about Emilio being ahead of him, although Izaguirre is on thin ice right now and Rodgers might have wanted 1 last look at him to see if he should stay or not.

Where does Marvin Compper find the time for personal training and gossip?

I agree. I groaned when he was brought on at LB against Aberdeen but he did well and looked fit.

Feels unlikely he arrived on the bus and then left because he wasn't playing. It may have been personal circumstances who knows other than Marvin Componers personal trainer of course.

The Rodgers way...when a player comes in a plays well he’s usually straight back out, done it with Gamboa, Bain, McGregor(positionally), Ajer, Johnston.

I just don't understand it mate. Was the same when Ralston got dropped for aberdeen and the huns after being motm. I hope to * Bain is number 1 now but I doubt it.

Aberdeen are close to sealing a deal to bring Jonny Hayes back to the club, we can reveal.

The Republic of Ireland winger is a huge fans favourite at Pittodrie having spent five hugely-successful years the club up until 2017 when he joined Celtic.

The 31-year-old has attracted interest from England, with a number of Championship clubs keen – but Aberdeen are in pole position to land him before the transfer deadline.

Hayes is under contract at Parkhead until 2020 but, having started just three games all season, the Bhoys are willing to let him move on.

And it was thought the Irishman’s wages would be out of Aberdeen’s reach with Celtic unlikely to let him go for nothing.

However, it’s believed some sort of compromise is close to being agreed with Hayes poised to make the move before Thursday’s deadline.
