Our best LB imo, which is worrying considering we just bought 2 LB's.

Would run through walls (or advertising boards) for us.

If games were won on steel alone he'd single handedly win the CL :56:

    Good guy Jonny.

His attitude is why I’m so perplexed that so many Celtic fans are raging when he comes on.

He’s always going to give us everything he has and a lot of the time, particularly domestically, that’s enough.

If Ntcham with his massive talent had half this guy's attitude, he could be a massive star in any league in the world.

99 percent of the fans in the stand would give everything, he did well but he’s still an incredibly average player.

Not the most technically gifted player but his pace & energy changed the game today along with Christie, he just kept going at their right back and creating chances. Taylor would of been watching that and knowing he has to add that to his game, just at the full backs and commit them.

Was he incredibly average when he galloped away at the midden to win the game for us this season?

He’s living his dream and he’s doing a proper job for us, put it this way we’d have been * without him at certain times of this season. The midden only 1 example.

The one where rangers pushed everyone up for an equaliser and he hit a honking first shot and scored through a lucky rebound? Come on mate, he’s mega average, if you want Celtic to move to the next level he’d be one of the first to be shifted.

Changed the dimensions for attack when he came on. Wee Taylor was in a battle and when Hayes came on there was no contest.

I think hes our best option on the left of a 3 5 2. His graft and experience as an actual winger is key

We're never going to have a full squad of guys with Edouard's talent.

Hayes can be satisfied with his contribution to our season so far. From his lucky rebound at Ibrox to his ploughing through the Rennes player when we were under the cosh.

He never greets, he always gives 100%,he will fill in wherever you ask him to. LW, RW, LB, LWB and he's clearly a popular member of the squad.

For the wages he is on, I'd certainly be giving him another 12 months as we hopefully go for the 10.

Just think how many times he’s went home with the munter just so his pal can get the worldie.

    An absolute gentleman.

Tidy little player, but lets not do the same thing we have done in the past, where we believe he is the best LB option we have and that he should be starting games.

Hayes for us done exactly what he is best at today, impact sub with some real hunger and passion for the cause.
He is not of the standard to be our number 1 LB, not now, not next year.

Taylor isn't the answer either, but he is the best of a bad bunch in terms of what he can offer AND the potential to develop him more. He should be the starter and for me, Hayes should be doing as he did today.

Boli - he tries, but he needs a run of games every time, and we don't have the time or the security in the league to afford his bombscare moments to be smoothed out after every time he takes an injury

So much of the play was channelled to Taylor , too many times he couldn't make his mind up and the cross was covered by then , Hayes gets played to and he,s off like a whippet , something Taylor has to learn or play him just as a full back but that wont work with the formation we pay that looks to be the route to 9/10 .
