    Think we might have been "priced out" of moves for some of these guys.
    But your right, Park has been doing a terrific job in identifying players, and Lennon seems to be doing a good job in getting some of the guys on board.

    He is more than just a talent spotter, he's a frighteningly knowledgeable football man with an acute knowledge of the game. Lennon leans on him for a lot more than just spotting young players with potential.

    I don't think his role can be under estimated at Celtic.

    he is in charge of celtics global scouting network so he has a direct input into who we sign as players are recomended to us thro our scouts thro out the world then park and a few trusted others look at them on u tube, go and watch them etc etc and ultimately with the manager make a decision who to sign. people are right to say he is in part resposible for bringing in kayal,ki,izzy but he is also partly resposible for bringing in rassmuson, hooifeld etc etc so you have to take the good with the bad its the nature of the business you win some you loose some. also heard he is a bit of a * but as long as he keeps bringing in players like kayal, ki or izzy then who cares.

    scouts are overlooked. i know i pay them no heed in football manager. always try it myself. well done to lenny for giving the scouts and ear.

    Do you think he swaggers around Celtic Park saying, 'Im a 20 20 scout on FM you know!' :56:

    He has been one of the best signings we have made in a long time. To identify players like Kayal and Izzy is incredible, the money we will make on them two alone will pay to keep John here for life! Hopefully they keep finding us talent and we can get some kind of conveyor belt of talent coming through to make us money.
