Apparently a few in the know guys at Hibs say that McGinn has signed for us, 2.7M plus Scott Allan and possibility of Morgan on a 6 month loan.

 

Though with both Allan and Morgan on the plane to Austria think we can call bullshit on that deal.

Also claimed Hibs wanted Johnston on loan but Rodgers fell out with Morgan already so he wants to send Morgan instead

 

Seen this on twitter also.
Allegedly in the latter stages of a deal but cant see it seeing as both Allan and Morgan are in Austria. If things were at such an advanced stage they would have been left behind.
I fancy Morgan to be the surprise package for us this season. Allan might go, but Morgan will stay.

 

Aye said that in the above post as well, load of * that it’s that far advanced but reckon we are in talks with Hibs. Personally I’d give them Allan plus Hayes on loan.

Same mate, said in his thread he’s going to surprise a lot of people this season coming, left and right wing positions are definitely up for grabs.

 

The same * said Hooper was going to Hibs.

 

He's 3 years younger than Armstrong with room to improve , he will also bring added steel to the midfield wich Armstrong never really had along with his energy and a goal threat. So getting him for close to 3m seems good business.

 

£2.7+ Allan seems fair enough, the £4/5/6m talk put me off. Still not 100% on him, but at that price I think the risk is worth it, £3m odd will be mostly or completely recouped even if he plays little football.

The fact that Allan is off to Austria though could be worth looking into, would of thought it would be unlikely he would of traveled if such a deal was as far along as the ITK brigade are saying.

Think it's a difficult one for the players being sent as part of the deal. Surely we should just go and pay the fee and later in the window do the loan deals. I like £1.5million plus Johnny Hayes and Scott Allan out of the three deals being talked about.

 

Morgan won’t be loaned out, no chance...

 

Management will get a look at him over the next few weeks, and if they deem a loan move to be of best interest to all parties, then so be it.

He isn't a particularly young player at near 22, 6-12 months of fleeting appearances aren't what he needs at this stage.

2.7 million with allan on a perm,an I think young johnston wil be most likely to go out on loan.thats good deal for us and lennon,gets allan off our books plus hopefully gives Johnston experience.plus lennon has nearly 3 million to spend,great for all parties.

Hayes wont feauture much in this squad. Unfortunately he doesnt have the quality we need.
