Lennon would have benn better off not having this clown by his side. Another master stroke by Peter Lawell and his cronies. New manager better be allowed his choice of staff.

 

Better not be at Celtic in any capacity next season

 

Nothing personal but he needs to go, we can’t keep people around simply because they’re “Celtic men”. * team selection and way too long for subs again for the last game, tactically clueless and hasn’t done anything to merit a stay here.

Since Kennedy became manager he has played it very safe and avoided taking any risks that could cost him a coaching job at Celtic when the new manager comes in. Apart from the hun game it been a series uninspiring wins and draws, his approach is far too conservative and hes totally missed his opportunity to impress. If he had any ambition he would leave Celtic now and try to prove himself somewhere else but from what he has shown it seems he would be happy to slip back into a coaching role at Celtic. The board would probably allow that but whether Howe wants him or not is different matter.

 

Hopefully howe see’s there’s nothing beneficial to keeping John around other than the fact he knows where the bibs and cones are kept at lennoxtown.

 

Lingered far too long at the club, time for him to go.

 

He's a long way from becoming a good manager, and if he stays at Celtic next season it pretty much shows he has zero ambition.

Absolutely no space for him at this club any more.
He's been gifted jobs for the last 16 years due to sympathy. But this past 2 years and specifically this past few months he has proven he simply is not Celtic class for a manager.

I've yet to be made aware of anything he has done to actually better his own career, except get gifted jobs by us.
Not once, and I would love to be proven wrong, has he went away and done any sort of coaching camps, training weekends etc that you hear all the up and coming coaches taking (as in what Rodgers, Klopp, Pep, Deila! all do). He's stayed at Celtic doing barely * all to better himself, to in turn better the club, just taking a pay cheque after pay.

Either he is too * dumb to realise what was wrong this season (and continued to be a dumbass) or he was the * problem.
Either way, liability to have around the club.

 

I'm going to say it, I think this * was worse than lennon, he's spoken as much of not more * than lennon did. Did * all of what he said he would and hasn't fixed a single * issue that was in the team. I've saw nothing of his supposedly really good coaching and man management that's non exist ant on the pitch.

 

Just as culpable as Lennon was for this season.

Show him the door ASAP. If he isn’t looking to stand on his own two feet and try make a name for himself outside of Celtic then it shows the measure of the man.

 

Calling him worse than Lennon is not a complement to Lennon either.
Honestly did not think it could get any worse when we all demanded Lennon was sacked. Like, really how much worse could it of got?

Lennon(this season):
39 games, 23 wins, 6 draws, 10 defeats
59% win rate
82 goals, 45 conceded

Kennedy games become more boring, dull and an absolute drag to watch, which is some going!

40% win rate is absolutely criminal.
Do not understand his fascination with keeping things as they was. Did he honestly expect these players just to suddenly start playing again? Was that his master plan all along, the same as the board "ach * it must get better eventually".

How this guy would be accepted as going back in to even a basic coach role with the first team is beyond me.
His best chance is to accept the u18 job, but even that is a job we should never offer him again, nor should we be entrusting him with the development of our youth - because clearly he does not give a * about it at all.


He remains at the club next season will be a big big sign of this boards intent.
Or lack of.
