Ever been a number 2 at work? You don't get to make the decisions, you support the decisions of the number 1. You might even get to debate these decisions in private but in the public domain you don't question the decisions, you support them. If he didn't support Lennon's or Rodgers decisions then he would been a poor assistant manager or coach.

For two days prior to that game he makes the decisions, so yes, he absolutely has had 2 days to prepare for that game.

Do I want Kennedy full time? Absolutely not. Do I think he takes some of blame for this year absolutely. All that being said let not let our anger and frustration distort the truth and our ability to judge someone fairly. He had 2 day maximum to fix to prepare for the weekends game. He was going to fix our deep deep routed issues in 2 days

 

I thought Lennon was still in the dugout yesterday with those subs Kennedy made taking klimala off and putting on moi while we had two forwards on the bench and again subbing Turnbull this what Lennon did every game too .

 

Tbf though we were pish under Rodgers on his last season too. I think that's why he left no investment and could see the decline.

 

The other teams got wise to his style of play. He also lost interest after the invincible season

 

He has been part of the coaching staff that created the deep routed issues, that's the main problem here. That's why we need a complete overhaul from the very top at boardroom level down to the men in the dugout.

 

I think anyone that’s been in that position of being a number 2 to someone that is * things up would completely understand what you’re saying.

That being said, it is possible the tactics primarily come from Kennedy. It’s possible Lennon delegated that responsibility to Kennedy. I think he has alluded to that in the past. We will never know the full story.


Yesterday was maybe too early to change the shape, but for me the fact he didn’t even drop Brown and Christie suggests he might have been significant (or maybe even main) voice on tactics and/or selection.

He really needed to make a statement to distance himself from this season. If he doesn’t do it in the next game then it will be very difficult to separate him from this season.

 

We can’t separate him from this season because he is part of it.

If he contributes nothing at all to the coaching then he is stealing a wage. We are not a benevolent fund. He seems to be highly thought of, so what is it he contributes? Just the good bits? The impersonation of a deid body in a morgue doing the eulogy at the funeral of a boring *? Maybe he’s the hairdresser?

What does he actually do or what has he actually done?

He absolutely has to go.

 

For Lennon to call him and give advice before yesterdays match really says it all.

Ffs can't he leave us alone? Kennedy better starts to do things differently if he doesn't want to be chased out like Lennon would have been with people allowed back.

 

This made me laugh....I remember thats what my Mrs would shout to our boys when we went to watch them playing with the school team growing up...she still does it when watching games on tv

The fact bookies are making him 8/11 favourite gives me the absolute fear, a shudder down to the soles of my feet.

Surely to * they wont even consider giving this monumemtal rebuild to an unproven rookie.

If Kennedy beats the Huns and goes undefeated for the remainder he’ll ‘deserve a crack at it’.
