He deserves the sack. He's the man coaching this failure. He's the coach! He's responsible for this!

how many years has this guy been stealing a wage as a coach.
look i know it sucks what happened to his professional career but continuing to pity him and keep him in a job because of it is ridiculous, the man himself cant have any pride continuing in a job he knows he didnt earn or deserve and only got because the club felt sorry for him.

This is complete bullshit. Aye things aren't going well and he is a part of it like everyone else involved in the playing staff. But this notion that he's stealing a wage or is an awful awful coach has been refured by many people. Damien Duff called him world class

Thing is they are not Lennon's staff. That's part of the problem I think. So when Lennon goes, Kennedy etc will be seen as different entities and treated as such.

If Kennedy wants to be a manager then he should look at a job elsewhere. You dont give a job like Celtic manager to someone who has never managed anyone. May as well give the job to one of us.

I think we all know the real reasons that Kennedy would be considered for our top job, he'd be: Cheap, Malleable and have little clout in demanding things (players, coaches, facilities etc.)

There's no sentimentality in business, we should always be getting the best manager we possibly can. Not giving it to a guy who got injured playing for Scotland 17 years ago, out of some sense of guilt. It doesn't wash with anyone.

I agree they should give it to me I have managed lots of people there was at least 400 staff on my last site and I have 3 projects running simultaneously it this * up COVID year so managing about 30 non tries should be a piece of pish.
Man management is my game I’ll need a couple of coaches SI if anyone has that experience we should form a team and apply for the job

This is from Kennedy talking about the day Rodgers left.

"Peter Lawwell arrived at the training ground in the afternoon, discussed the possible plans and told me that I was wanted here.

He told me to prepare the team and if there was an appointment that I'd be assisstant manager"

Now why is Kennedy bein guaranteed the assistant managers position before we have even spoken to a manager?

It says to me that we never intended on going for a big name after Rodgers as most managers of that calibre would want their own men in. Why then was he so against going for a big name after Rodgers. Mainly, I would say because Lawell had had his authority and position challenged by Rodgers demands, a high profile name who wasn't easily manipulated. He was also likely deeply uncomfortable with the expense of paying for the manager and the mounting costs of his tenure. Rodgers wanted to start spending big on pushing us to the next level.

Kennedy appointed from within (money saved) and forever grateful to Lawell for continually supporting him (easily controlled). Lennon a guy grateful to be given a second chance and happy to put up with whatever he's been given. Go back to Deila's appointment. A young, cheap manager who was easy to control.

The amount of players that have come in without the knowledge of the manager at the time and many more examples all point to Lawell having far too much influence. Cutting corners financially and running us in to the position we now find ourselves in through fundamental mismanagement. Lawell needs to go.
