He's a player who is outwith our reach now I'd think. Definitely coming into his own these past few months.

Seven goals in eleven games since the turn of the year, which is a very good return.

Aye a good return indeed. Probably in the cup though against lower league teams.

Him and big Sammy up front with pace behind. Could have worked.

I'm sure I remember him coming out and saying that he had no desire to join us permanently because having a goal scoring record in scotland isn't respected. Good player on his day but he certainly didn't live up to the hype that we as celtic fans put on him when he signed for us. His link up play was good but his lack of pace was disappointing.

Well, he has scored in the cup, but also against the likes of Barcelona (including his penalty), Levante & Atletico.

He's a quality player from what I've seen this season. Was causing both Mascherano & Pique a fair amount of problems tonight, which not many opposition strikers do at the Camp Nou.

He's a young lad who's ambition stretched further than playing in the SPFL. You can't hold that against him.

I said it at the time but he is(was now) one of the best striking options we could have hoped for.

I never understood people not wanting to take the risk on him(if he was willing). * it. Lets go and spend £1.5m on Ciftci instead. Madness really.

I watched the first 40 mins of that game tonight and he led the line well, some nice touches and link up was good.

9 in 29 this season. However his appearances are deceiving. Only played 400 odd minutes in La Liga from 21 games. 118 mins per goal.

Bet he feels like a total fud now for cupping his ears to the Barca fans when scoring that penalty.

    * handed to him on a plate and then some by the 3 maestro's in the end.

2 of those were against Atletico and Barca. Not exactly lower league.

His goal against Atletico was a belter.

Sweden's next Ibra, however the attitude doesn't get backed up with real quality.

Tony Watt, Miku examples of goalscorers against Barca/real which ever one it is for Miku, that have worn our jersey and look at where they are now.

Jesus kenny miller scored then winner against utd for wolves was it? doesn't make him a great striker.

Yes Guidetti is a good player on par with Leigh imo because his attitude lets him down and I doubt he would have made a huge difference to this season as he would view himself above the SPFL fodder, perhaps he would turn up for the Europa but there is no certainty about that.

Wish he was still here, think we could have developed him into a top player then sold for 10mil+

People can say "he didn't want to sign", but when he was playing well at the end of 2014, had the money been right he was ours.

Not keen on him at all. Decent striker though.

Think if he had signed full time he would have threw a strop by now and wanted away. Scotland wasnt enough to massage his large ego.

Think it got better towards the end, was stinking in the middle, started off brilliantly.

He's the type of guy who if you handle properly can be a real assett for you. You need to get him fired up.

That's what makes me 50/50 about him, could another manager got more out him? Treated him different?

    I think so.
