    That's just silly! We certainly need to be casting our net wider than we currently are, but why on earth should we completely ignore England? Especially when there is a loophole to be exploited in the same way as we did with Dembele!

    If I had to pick a paedophile pseudonym, it would probably be Joe Aribo and that puts me off a little bit.

    He played well yesterday. Fantastic first touch on him for a big guy and looks really strong. He has the body shape of Nir Biton but certainly plays with the aggression of a wanyama. On a free contract it's a no brainier.

    NEIL LENNON is set to be confirmed as Celtic boss on Friday — and will step up his interest in Charlton star Joe Aribo.

    Lennon’s been on holiday, but talks have still been going on over his offer to be permanent manager.

    It’s believed negotiations have progressed well and Hoops chiefs are eager to confirm Lennon’s appointment as boss before the weekend, then urgently press on with squad rebuilding.

    The historic treble Treble winners are due to report back on June 17 and NINE players have left already, with a question mark over Mikael Lustig’s future

    Lennon’s had Aribo repeatedly watched since he became interim boss in February.

    The 22-year-old has also been linked with Rangers.



    Celtic could pick up the exciting midfielder for a modest compensation fee due to cross-border transfer rules.

    Aribo is approaching 100 league appearances for Charlton and netted ten goals last season in their promotion from League One.

    Now Lennon’s preparing to sanction a swoop, although the Addicks hope a return to the Championship will persuade Aribo to stay.

    Aribo said this week: “I just want to enjoy my summer and then come back and look at what I have to be doing for next season and where I’m going to be.”

    At least they have several targets, you will get 1 or 2. Previously we seemed to have 1 target and flustered if we didn't get him

    I could see Rogic going to the EPL, Ntcham too France and one of Mulumbu/Bitton being sold. Maybe all 4 will go but I'd personally keep Bitton for cover at CB.
