Some people want us to be more like Ajax in bringing through young players, but some people aren't willing to be patient with Frimpong - a young player with big potential.

Everything bar the final ball....which he ruined over and over..

Very frustrating as he saw so much of it and did a lot of good thing's bar where it really matter most..

Beating * on the wing means * all if you cant deliver at the end of it, defensively was solid but thought his offensive game was summed up when he hit an absolutely ridiculous overhit through ball to turnbull when he was in a great position to create a chance.

I really liked him. A very good signing. However he got worse and worse as his career at Celtic went on. I get injuries didn’t help but still should of improved due to his age.

Injuries were the biggest issue with that mate, no Lenny.

Saying that, Lenny’s training might have contributed to the injuries, because Lustig, Forrest and Kayal all went on to be able to play a ridiculous amount of games.

Aye? And out of how many of those games has Elhamed played more against the huns than Frimpong has?

Stop trying to pick a plaster that ain't coming off...

Ahh so certain games, not just experienced on a football pitch?

No having this at all mate. Roy Keane had one and only one game against them, when he was finished as a player, but his experience as a football player absolutely bossed it.

You learn as a footballer the more games at a high level you play, it’s just a thing that’s a fact mate. Out of all the nitpicky debates we could have today a canny believe this is one lol

Forrest was the exact same for me until the rat came in and look at how much he improved after that.

Frimpong and Laxalt just miss a final ball, it’s been clear all season with no improvements. A good coach helps them with that.

    Absolutely correct.

He's played far more top flight games for Celtic and against the huns than far more experienced players than he and the likes of Laxalt, Soro, Turnbull, yet he's worse than the lot of them.

I'm only having this "nitpickety" debate because it's the thread dedicated to Jeremie Frimpong, don't see what's hard t understand about that?

Top flight games don’t just count if it’s for Celtic. It’s why I made the Roy Keane example there.

Soro but mate, and this is where I’d agree he needs to catch on quicker and learn from what’s he’s doing(Frimpong a mean), Soro took exactly one early mistake to realise what he could and couldn’t do on the ball today. And by the looks of him I doubt he’ll forget that. But that’s more of a rarity I think, and a credit to Soro.

He was brilliant today, the formation suits him bcoz it frees him to run, Christie could have helped him more but other than his final
ball which will hopefully come he can't be criticised today, had a great game.

Unbelievable talent. They were tripling up on him at one point, absolutely terrifies full backs going forward. Still has a lot to learn with decision making and final ball but convinced he will become a top class full back

The majority of his work today was very good, but - and it's a big * BUT - there was no 'end product'.

I can't decide if that alone renders the rest of his performance pointless?

Pointless in terms of the final result possibly but not overall.

There's a player there which is clear to see but he desperately needs good coaching.

Would sell if Roma are daft enough to buy him for anything over a few million, * awful final ball time and time again.

He looked dangerous time and time again, and then final ball, *.
