£13m for someone with his obvious potential at this age would be a steal in todays market, they can get to *.

unless he's pushing for the move, selling him this early would be one of the dafter things we've done.

With right coaching could be a right good player but really needs to work on his final ball, if he can do that then would be a good attacking player , not a rb for me tho

In all honesty 13 million seems like a lot of money for him at this point. Yes he's had good games but still no settled position and obvious weaknesses that he may or may not develop out of.

Feels like just paper talk. Pretty sure he'll still be with us past Christmas.

We have that in Lee O'Connor a bigger taller defensive minded right back who has played plenty at centre back and centre mid.. he is in an awful tranmere team mind

Would give him a try. You never know, he might turn out to be like Turnbull and Soro

13m is laughable considering his potential. Anyone who'd want to take that is off their rocker.

So please tell me why you think that’s laughable.

He’s an absolute star. It’s a shambles how often we have been reliant on him to produce and create.

I would much rather keep him for another couple of seasons and mould him into a RM/RW. He just needs to work on his end product as that’s the main thing missing from his game. If he can improve that then the offers will be much higher than £13m.

£13m minus the 30% sell on we have to give city (?) isn't exactly a great deal for one of our biggest potential talents who's been a breath of fresh air in the first team at 19 years old.

Because his potential far outweighs that price tag

Sorry mate but not a chance. Why would anyone pay decent more for him, his potential to run really fast, his potential to work hard, his potential to......ehhh. Eddy was being touted for 30 million some in here now saying we’d be lucky to get 10 million because of his form......nothing about potential when folk talk about Eddy right now.

Roma have no interest in signing Jeremie Frimpong, Record Sport understands.

A report from Italy claimed the Serie A giants have been watching the Celtic star and had asked boss Paulo Fonseca’s agent to contact the Premiership champions.

But we understand Roma don’t currently have the funds to pursue a deal for the right-back and have no wish to sign him.

Thinking about it, Frimpong most reminds me of Agathe in his first few seasons.

Some outstanding attributes (speed, application) with some obvious flaws or current weaknesses.

I loved Agathe and all the more for working hard on his weaknesses. Frimpong possibly has more natural footballing talent but still think it he is a long way from the finished article. I doubt for instance that he will ever be a top flight RB, his current position. He may develop in another position but that is a gamble.

Said it further up but this all feels like newspaper hype.

Agathe was much better so far at least. Crossing was just as * though.

    Agathe could also defend.
