Hes been absolutely * this season

 

Small frame - * aerial ability - defending corners he may as well stand off the pitch - why not put him on one of the posts fs - lennon has no idea about defending corners.

If I was was manager of the opposing team I would focus on high balls when he is playing RB/RWB and look for knock ons - a few goals we have conceded have been through this way.

A* for attitude but needs serious work on his crossing and delivery in the last third - give me paddy Roberts anyday of the week day and night difference - that ship has sailed but id still have a pop for him he seemed to fit well when he as injured.

Unless Frimpong stays behind training everyday and knocks 50 balls into the box (low, medium, high - front and back post etc) he wont improve, if he wants to be better he needs the extra stuff and not reply on regular training.

You only need to see where the darkside score most of their goals from great deliveries from their lb and rb.

 

His career potential is being severely limited by Lennon and his * coaches.

 

Lots of raw potential that is evidently being badly coached.

Under a different coaching set up I think we'll see him start to shine again. Which is something you could say about the whole squad.

We'll just need to wait til the egos humble themselves enough to finally accept they're wrong and a new manager gets brought in

 

I think if he was playing in the right set up and surrounded by players who look to take the ball of him then he has the potential. Unfortunately he hasn't and his form has suffered

 

Under the right manager Frimpong will be an absolute star.

 

I noticed a few times, that he is our furthest forward player when oppositions take corners, guess hoping to use his pace if we get a breakaway.

 

Takes a lot of punishment..

Needs to work a bit more on his use of the ball..

It's slacking..

 

Needs to be able to get past his opposite number, hit the byline and get a decent cross in. Never feels like that is likely to happen.

 

Jeremie Frimpong is being watched by Roma, who are sounding Celtic out according to reports in Italy

The pacey full-back is on boss Paulo Fonseca’s radar according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, and has instructed his agent to make contact with the Scottish Premiership champions to establish the player’s availability.

And the Serie A outfit have reportedly been quoted a fee of £13.million if they want to prise the right back away from Celtic Park .

Frimpong still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his contract so Neil Lennon is under no obligation sell, although former club Manchester City will be due 30 per cent of any fee after insisting on a sell-on clause when they sold the player for £1million.

If any transfer fee is in the £13.5million ballpark, then City would be due around £4m of the cash heading Celtic’s way.

Celtic no doubt had potential sell-on value in mind when they went and got Frimpong.

Don't think 13million is enough for him imo. I would be looking more than that purely because of his age and city's 30% sell on

 

Nah, I don't want to see him leave, and in today's market, even with covid, still wouldn't be entertaining anything less than 20 from a club like Roma.

 

Minimum for him is KT money plus 10% sell on.

Personally, would rather he had another 2 years here.

If he is sold, we could use the money to buy another Frimpong type player however, one that is a good few inches taller and defend corners and highballs etc.
