If I had to guess I'd say the boots comment is either a metaphor that only Lennon and a few others gets or that behind the scenes, with info we've no access to, Frimpong has been complaining about foot ache, and they've got him custom boots.
Either way, don't give a * about that statement, versus the fantasy about us being strong at the back... which is stupendously untrue!

    Fantastic performance, again.

His potential is frightening, how * rapid is he? Always positive, never hides, grafts like * and gets booted all over the park.

First name on the team sheet right now

Just a class act, an absolute steal and the potential to be anything he wants to be with the attitude to match.

I think we are relying too heavily on him tbh, we have nothing down the left, all the focus is on Jezza.

The most disappointing aspect of his performance today was realising that he’s been given lessons on how to deal with the media. His short and simple answers in his post match interview were disappointing by his standards :56:

    On the pitch though, sublime.

Unreal player. Definitely one of the first names on the team sheet for me.

His pace is frightening. The way he just ghosts past people… you can’t train that!

If we had someone like him on the left hand side… wow!

Works everytime though in the 2nd half they start doubling up on him but when that happens a cm or striker just has to drop short for the 1-2 and frimpong his gone past them to the byline. Needs to be starting every game whether forrest is fit or not. He’s so good and does have the opposition under so much pressure even when he cuts in if they stick a foot in to tackle it’s almost certain he’ll get a free or go by them due to his pace

If he develops his final ball, he'll play at international level nae bother.

Pace and a low centre of gravilty, add to that great ability and a 1st class attitude, as you say he should be startin every game. :50:

Right now it's the only thing that's missing from his game, that can easily be worked on and improved, he's such an exciting young talent.

I'm actually quite excited to see him and Forrest playing together. 3-5-2 is the way to go for now but when we do go to something that includes wingers him and Forrest on one side will be impossible to play agains

As for frimpong? Fantastic yet again, cannot believe we signed him for 300k

Just his final ball let's him. Down, but love his at em attitude.

Think. On wing or wingback, not RB got caught out a couple of times defensively.

Been excellent past couple of games.
