Not at all, although surprised all the nonsense he was coming out with in his flash in the pan period turned out to be a crock of *. Running at the first opportunity.

We'll see who's right about all these supposed attributes he has.

Sad to see the wee man go. A good player with the potential to improve. I thought he'd be one of the guys who'd be here next season, so the rebuild job appears even bigger.

The final sentence comes across as bitter.
I wish him the best of luck. I always like to see former players do well (except Kenny Miller).

Best of luck wee man, gutting to lose him cause under the right coach he'll be a class player. Far from the finished article but not many players have made that big an impact in their first 18 months of professional football.

Aye, good money for him tbh and that’s a good league and club to go to. Not overly disappointed losing him either.

    That’s not actually true.

They are going to develop him and utilitise him the best way possible. Not like us. Scared to move him to the wing while we put McGregor at LB.

Absolute shambles. Alphonso Davies is proof that Germany is the perfect place for him. Not to mention the countless others who’ve gone to Germany and thrived.

Running at the first opportunity. What do you mean by that?

He’s got a move to a better team in a better league.

Are you seriously implying that he’s * off as soon as the “going got tough”, as opposed to furthering his career?

Celtic boss Neil Lennon feels the deal that saw Jeremie Frimpong join Bayer Leverkusen represents “great business”.

The right-back joined the Bundesliga outfit today for a fee of £11.5million, and speaking on BBC Radio Scotland the manager wasn’t too sad to see him go.

    I think it’s great business.

We’ve plucked him out of obscurity really and we’ve developed him.

He made it clear that he wanted to go, despite us wanting to renegotiate his contract, and we feel it’s a really good offer and good business for the club.

It’ll stabilise us a little bit financially as well during this pandemic.

He'd have been beyond stupid to reject that move with the way we're currently ran.

Absolute drivel. Bitterness pouring out you btw.

See this garbage that fans seem to think that Celtic are the be all and end all for players, even players with no tie to the club. Some sort of weird entitlement.

He’s progressed here, he’s won trophies, he’s making the club a large amount of money. If you are successful at Leverkusen, the next move is a massive one. Who’s to say he’d ever have gotten this opportunity again. No point staying here for 5 months with nothing to play for.

    Good on him.

Yet more bollocks from oor Lenny.

“Plucked him out of obscurity” - played for the best youth team in the UK - if that’s obscurity our scouting system is worse than I feared.

“We’ve developed him” - boy is the exact same player as the second he walked through the door. That’s being generous.
