Yup. Just like that other Dutch youngster that failed under Lennon but went on to better things.

It was Lennons fault the lad could not pick out Ted Bundy in a line up by the time he was 20.

The thing is to have an end product you need teammates actually getting into positions for crosses and cutbacks. When was the last time that was happening? There has barely any movement up front all season, it's hard to pick someone out when there is nobody there, or they are standing still with 3 defenders round them. And that isn't just an issue for Frimpong.

I think he'll go on to have a decent career with proper coaching and teammates around him that know what is expected of them and are actually putting in the effort.

He goes from running at defenders and getting at the byline, to becoming a guy who hardly takes on his man, cuts inside and plays a square pass.

As does every other * in the squad, that is the coaching and system they are being instructed to play, if it were one player fine.... Its not though.

He's far better than what we have seen lately, that is obvious, he's also still very young so with the right coaching and system where he's not being asked to be everything down the right covering defensive work and being the sole creative wide man, yes, it is a * steal and he will easily go on and achieve things. Especially in a league like Germany.

Always thought this wee cheeky chappy 'infectious' personality thing was a bit false. Pretty obvious he's got a few man of the match awards and its gone to his head, bit of * in reality. Take the money and get him to *.

    Time will tell chaps.

There was a reason City let him come here and a reason we didn’t give into his demands.

I’ll eat humble pie if he is tearing it up in the bundesliga in 12 months but let’s see.

His final ball is poor but he pulls people all over the park, sometimes double teamed too.

Always creating difficult situations for the opponents, he’s something so different for them to plan for and constantly think about during the game.

You don’t get that with an El Hamed, Ajer or Ralston.

That reason is spending 100's of millions on defenders, already having guys like walker and danilo and cancelo around the 18/19 & 19/20 seasons.

He was never getting anywhere near that squad.

I'll eat humble pie if you can show me any evidence he actually made any demands that we didn't give in to.

I seen an Instagram post on another site from a nobody quoting a nobody.

Seems like that’s the rules we live under these days.

    My point still stands though.

Good luck to the kid, i think he will go onto have a very good career, direct, pacy, confident, and his defensive frailties can be coached, leaving us for a very good side and decent manager in Bosz.

I dont think his personality was a show, I just think he's a young player in a team thats currently going nowhere under a * manager who's been offered a chance to play for the current 3rd place team in Germany?

Good luck Frimpers, we'v been ripped off. I look forward to none of the funds we gain here being invested back into the club.
