The VfL squad (34 players) is still too big, but who leaves the Wolfsburg football Bundesliga yet? Jeffrey Bruma? The VfL center-back is now associated with cult club Celtic Glasgow.

In the social network Twitter is spreading cheerfully, the Scottish first division offers almost 8 million euros for the central defender, which is not set at VfL. It goes on to say: The Celtic heads responsible for head coach Brendan Rodgers have talks with the tough defender.


It is clear: The VfL squad has yet to shrink, he should include 24 to 26 players in the new season. Candidates for a move include Riechedly Bazoer, Marvin Stefaniak, Victor Osimhen, Kaylen Hinds, PG Ntep, Paul Jaeckel (to be hired) - and Bruma, for whom there had been loose interest in the Premier League, but the transfer window for the financially strong League has closed now. They state as a source the same twitter account as in the non-media section here. Was that not put down as a fake?

Seems to have some issues with knee injuries which is concerning

 

Don't know if am happy or angry at this. If it's true that we're willing to spend 8m. Why the * was business not done on the defence before the qualifiers. For this reason I can't see us spending 8m when we've just lost out on 40m windfall

 

Maybe this was the target we wanted but he was wanting to wait and see about getting 70k a week in England. Never happened so he'll come here instead for a few years before a move there. Plus he sounds like our type of defender. A big injured *.

That snapshot of his follow on injuries after the knee op is a little worrying, fair enough one is classed as a virus but it looks like he's had a * horrible run of injuries last season.

Sounds like our type of signing.

Is there an Injury League?, our CB's would * batter that league.

 

He had a bad run of injuries but prior to that he was a staple in the Holland side with 11 caps in one year, he is built like a brick * house and exactly what our defence needs. Also a good age at 26 so has experience (2 Dutch leagues and played in Europe) mixed with plenty of time ahead. He was in the Chelsea youth team while Brendan coached them so can see why he would be happy to come to Celtic. I would 100% be happy with this signing.

 

Needs to happen now so our medical team can have a look at him..

Think the plan is to take the working parts from this * and weld them on to Compper.

 

Would happily take him, seems a bit steep for our budget though.
And if we are willing to spend this much, why didn't we do it sooner to help cement cl? Even for someone else.


And also, if he has an on going injury issue, as much as I would like it to happen, I'd be more willing to give it a miss - we don't have time to get another injury candidate on the books

 

Apparently he has been fit and done the whole pre-season thing at Wolfsburg.

 

Unless we will fund it with a player sale.

Would love him here. Highly doubt we would pay that amount of money without selling someone though.
