Loan move confirmed in tomorrow's papers.

Hope he turns out to be our own Vincent Kompany. :50:

Decribed as a loan move similar to Tonev's, so it very likely is. :50:

Strange if we do have an option to buy. He is very highly rated at City.

i highly doubt that there is an option to buy, rendering the move pointless, we could buy another youngster and have him playing and developing instead

A bit strange if we don't really. He's not going to improve us that greatly and I don't think we desperately need cover at centre-half. Efe and Virgil play almost every game and Mikael and Charlie can cover there.

I'm thinking the same. Even though they rarely bring through youth nowadays I doubt they would let him go after only being there a year, especially considering how highly they rate him.

Also don't see why the player himself would potentially want a permanent move here. Maybe he would I'm not sure but someone with his supposed potential would usually want a move elsewhere in Europe.

Pity it was after the deadline for Maribor.

Young players at City will never ever get a look in unless they're an absolute wonder kid from Spain or Argentina. Look at Jack Rodwell most recently, he was supposedly meant to be a first team player as well! They're youth set up will be rife with good young players looking to move on for first team football.

Hopefully this kid lives up to the hype and does himself justice whilst he's here.

Hopefully we can keep a hold of Virgil for one more season and pair him with this guy. Im fine with selling one of our stars each season but no more than one. Ano most of yous are miserable * but I for one am starting to feel better about the season ahead. Would like to break the bank a bit for a striker and bring Sammy back then I will be limited in my complaints.

I can't imagine many coming through from City's youth squads, no matter how highly they're rated, when they can buy ready-made, top-class internationals.

    One question.
What if Celtic get to the CL group stages and draw Man City in our group.
Will he be allowed to play against his parent club.
