Why can't we improve the squad no matter if they think we have enough to win the league anyway as I expect we do.
We still need to strengthen, the team.
Strengthen the club.
It's there job to improve us as a club.
We are entitled to the team being made stronger by all the money the fans have to put in.

Lose this the there has to be a mass exodus at board level. Richest club in Scotland and frightened of the transfer market. Am not buying this we spent 20+ million. In reality we sold a homegrown player for 30 so our net spend is negative.

Am not asking for millions of pounds spent but Vic and Benko where achievable on loan at least ffs.

Honestly if we don't win the league I won't go back to Celtic Park untill Lawwell and the rest of the torys are away to *.

 

Without injuries? Yes. The point is, we have plenty of injuries. Biton, Jozo, Elhammed, Frimpong in defence alone. Elyounoussi, Johnstone on the wings and 2 wingers who never see the bench never mind the pitch in Shved and Arzani.

 

This board is content to be at the top of the Scottish league, they know that provides entry to the European qualifiers, the assumption is that we are good enough to always at least make the Europa, with the fluke of making the CL for some extra cash.

That's how the board look at it. They SHOULD be looking it in the opposite way - we are one of the BOTTOM teams in the European leagues, and we NEED to improve the squad for that.

Don't know why people get excited at transfer windows

The board have been * us over for YEARS. It was "we will start spending when sevco come up" for a while.. Well they've been up for years and are now finally starting to mount a challenge (which in itself is a disgrace considering where they were a few years ago) and STILL we are not spending a penny after making profits year after year.

We are getting shafted. People need chased out of this club. I mean are we broke or something? Because the lack of spending after gaining so much in transfer fees and freeing up the wage bill is unforgivable. If we lose this title, heads should roll.

Celtic are working on a couple of potential deals but won’t be disappointed if they don’t bring anyone in before the window closes.

They had agreed a loan deal with Newcastle United to bring their winger Christian Atsu in on loan but the player decided against the move.

A winger is their priority but having spent £6.5m already this window and £22m over the course of the last two windows, they feel they have a strong squad with which to conclude the season.

 

That’s that, then.

Think we’ll sign Forster as he’s surplus at Southampton.

I also read we have an option to sign Elyounoussi for £9m which shouldn’t be an issue if we sell Edouard for £30m+.
