I can’t see much action in January unless we sell first.

The summer window was an unmitigated and expensive disaster, this board will not throw good money after bad. Add in the factor that Lennon is likely to lose his job as soon as its mathematically impossible, maybe even before that, and lawell and co will have this at the back of their minds. Given the situation I can't see any significant signings this month.

Money from any sales will probably be kept for a summer rebuild, which is going to have to be massive. I think the most we will see are more loans to bolster numbers in the event of outgoings.

After the disaster of last summer, hard to see the board giving Lenny any coin, so maybe a few loans in.

The signings in the summer were fine, it's the manager who's * them up and the entire squad.

He won't be the manager after this season, for that it will be a couple of loans at best.
Not because the summer signings are a "disaster"

Barkas, done nothing wrong. Not wowed us, but that defence has cost us goals before the keepers.

Laxalt, brilliant signing, we all saw the quality, less so now as we all expected when given a few months in this setup

    Turnbull, need we say anything?

Ajeti, was deemed unfit, looked it, but got a few goals early on to show his worth. Certainly know he is good from Basel days. Same as barkas, he's been wasted and don't given remotely the right chance or help here.

Ely, we know what we was getting and he has done the same as last season, some great moments, but vastly played in the wrong role. But always comes up with the goods when needed.

    Duffy, well aye bombscare

4 out of 6 are good, one *, one much the same.

Actually a decent window by our own usual standards.

We spent big on a keeper, striker and a big loan fee on a CB, none of whom have made any significant contribution, arguably all 3 have been *.

Elyounoussi does show moments of quality but that's it, moments, and they are few. He doesn't always deliver when needed, he had a huge chance against the huns and shat the bed, he was completely anonymous in the cup final and downright poor when we dropped points at Pittodrie. And thats just off the top of my head.

Given the importance of this season any big signings we made beforehand needed to hit the ground running. Only really one did, even then its being debated as to whether taylors a better option. In context the window, so far, has been a disaster. Time will only tell whether that will prove to be the case long term, I suspect that 5 of the 6 that came in will not be here next season.

Why throw good money after bad ?
Especially on a manager who nobody has confidence in and it’s only a matter of time before he is sacked or walks , hopefully the next manager will be able to get the best out of the players we have as we have under performed for the last 6 months .

Just when we thought we were beginning to get some of the feel good factor back . Hopefully it's just typical newspaper pish and we get a pleasant surprise like a new GK, CB and wide man
