Frimpong needs to start before him now. He's an absolute passenger. Him and brown are guaranteed a game under Lennon and know it no matter how pish they play.

Regressed. Same as McGregor and Ajer.

Goes missing far too often. Frimpong did more in 2 minutes than Forrest did in about 75.

Tried to be patient with him and not jump on the bandwagon when people are slating him.

Yes he has a great goals and assists return but it’s not hard really when you play with the best team in the league.

He goes missing in the big games time and time again.

    We need better than him!

Frimpong comes on and won't stop attacking the space and full back's..

Forrest goes back or inside and passes the buck..

Hiding yet again, leaving all the work to others, just playing the simple pass and keeping it safe, unacceptable, but still Lenny keeps playin him.

He looks like he has absolutely 0 confidence. especially concerning when he normally starts seasons on fire and fades away after Xmas. Normally he grabs an assist or a goal too keep his biggest backers onside after poor performances but thats no even happening. No-ones on form but he really is a man down at the moment.

He's being woeful so far this season.

Frimpong should have been on at HT.

Despite having been here for years he plays like he is still a young player, definitely not like a senior player at the club. Seems to lack the ability to take responsibility, this has been evident for years how he goes missing in games vs them.

It’s just Forrest all over, and it’s been said time and time again.

He’s largely been * for months now. 3 goals since mid November of last year.

Yet in 2020 he’s started every game, bar 3 (2 because of injury).

He goes through large spells where he’s pish, then he’ll have 10-12 games where he scored a few goals and all is forgotten. We should be looking for better.

Rather have a Robert's type player than a back pass and occasional run at the edge of the box to whip it into nowhere. Then again is the manager telling him to back pass? He was fantastic under rodgers, so evidence points elsewhere

His time under Deila was *. He was brilliant under Rodgers. He has been * under Lennon. It seems its a mentality thing with him.

He just doesn't take his man on when facing him up..

If he has space he'll run in behind or look for a one two but when on the ball....he won't go at his man if he's being faced up..

He's easy to play against like that, whereas Frimpong us a nightmare for anyone to come up against..

I'd play Elhamed and Frimpong together on the right..

I think he’s lost a yard of pace and he’s not confident of beating a reasonably capable full back anymore which is why he’s always cutting inside than taking his man on.

Similar to the second half of Sinclair's time with us just now, you could still defend him by pointing to his stats over the season but that doesn't tell the whole story, he looks a shadow of himself, taking the safe pass back and not taking on his man as much as he should. Credit where it's due he got in behind a couple of times for that cutback to ntcham and the ball across goal that had no takers, but his all round play has been poor so far this season, frimpong deserves a start ahead of him next game.

Hopeless performances for a while now, massive * bag in any physical duel also. As people are saying Frimpong contribution in 10-15 mins is more than Forrest had delivered all game.

The wide areas we are lacking massively, elyounoussi is absolutely wasted on the wing he should be the 10 behind the striker. Bodies needed here in addition to the other 5/6 positions in the team

You certainly can't play 4231 when most of your wide players can't beat there man. Taylor and Forrest have been going sideways or back , elyounassi does it in patches and when it happens we usually get a decent chance. The best thing Forrest done last night was when he knew he was about to come off and he actually beat his man, got in behind and we nearly scored

Because I feel he's lost that yard of pace and he is so so dependent on his right foot imo

He's been struggling for form for a while now - time for him to take a spell out of the starting line-up and work on rediscovering his form.

There's no shame in it - he'd been performing so well for so long that a period of 'burn out' was almost inevitable.
