    A season is a bit of a stretch.

    Have a good look at him pre-season then if he shows promise keep him till January.

    A replacement/stand-in for Bitton is almost as necessary as a replacement/stand-in for Izzy.

    I dont think so, he is our player after all so there is no rush. I accept that i am basing this on one game and that it might have been a particularly good game but i would like to take a good look at him.

    I see pictures of him training with the team this morning so I assume as with McGeouch we have taken up the years option on his contract after his loan.

    He probably won't make it here, although I do think he's a decent player, would probably start for any other side in Scotland. Showed at county that he's got quality..

    I'm liking the fact we're taking up years on contracts instead of releasing them for nothing. It was a gripe of mine, the amount of players we let go, and the amount that go straight in to spfl sides, and we get fuckall for them. If we get small fee's for guys like this, it's better than nothing..

    i think most players can have an incredible performance but they can't keep it up

    its the ones that can produce consistently great performances that are the great prospects

    did jackson ever play a few games on the trot for us ?

    i sometimes wonder if we let great prospective players slip through the net because we don't give them enough 1st team time

    think of our old teams the way celtic used to get players is through our youths and other scottish teams and the playing them at first team level is what pushed them on to being greats
