    See there has been a £1.75m fee agreed to make the deal permanent. I really hope he does well there, I can’t see it but really hope he does.

    If that permanent transfer goes through Lawwell will deserve his bonus for making a profit on Hendry.

    Hopefully he does alright as they have an option on him that would actually see us make a profit in terms of fee.

    Not the right thread but as a club I think we could benefit from forming partnerships/agreements with teams such as a league one club in England, a Belgian top league team but smaller club and someone in the Slovkian/Hungarian/ Croatian or Swiss top league, where we could loan players to each to get first team experience and game time at a decent level.

    The league one team would be ideal for our domestic young academy boys like the deal Robertson just got say you sent two or three a season and for them the carrot as well as getting good talent would be access to those that don’t quite make the grade here.

    The Belgian and/ or other European team would be so we could sign young talent that would not get a Work permit for our league or talent from the region that has potential but not quite ready for us. The work permit players would be those who have the prospect of getting international caps in the near future, so a season or two getting experience at a decent level. The carrot for them is access to players they wouldn’t manage to attract otherwise and no transfer fees. They could also get the pick of those who haven’t made it at us like the Shveds, Bayo’s and Hendry’s of this world.
