    He is under contract with us until 2023 so hopefully there is a buy clause they might take up in his loan deal to Oostende as he is just never going to make it with Celtic.

    KVO also reached an agreement with a second central defender today. 25-year-old Scot Jack Hendry comes on loan from Celtic Glasgow. KVO also negotiated a purchase option on the very long (1.94m) Scottish international.

    Jack Hendry made his breakthrough in the 2017-2018 season with the Scottish first division Dundee United. The strong defender was then called up three times for the Scottish national team and was left with a transfer to superpower Celtic Glasgow. With the Scottish record champion, he played 27 times, last season he was loaned to Australian first division Melbourne City.



    Jack is a defender who fits perfectly into the system we want to play," said Executive President Gauthier Ganaye . “He can defend ahead, is fast and header strong. With its 1.94m, it is also a weapon on stationary phases. If you are picked up at the age of 23 by a club like Celtic, it means that you have many qualities. We are convinced that he will also show it here. ”

    "I am happy to be working here," said Jack Hendry . “Belgian football has evolved enormously in recent years with the national team as its equivalent. It is a competition where young players get opportunities and that certainly applies here in Ostend. The club has taken a new direction and fully pulls the cart of the youth. I already took a look at the stadium and the practice complex and the structure and accommodation is here to make it a good season.
