Strikes me as no giving a *. I imagine there's been quite a few loan opportunities for him where he'd still be getting his same wage regardless....that he's turned down..

 

If I was working for someone and they said you can stay here and collect the money doing * all or be seconded to an office Shere I would be further from home and work hard for the money I know what I would do. Clubs fault.

 

The fault lies squarely at the feet of the rat, he was the same * waxing lyrical about Hendry when we played Dundee.

 

Club's fault for the length of contract but if he doesn't take a loan in this month then he's a *. Simple..

Just sitting doing fuckall and won't even try a d progress his career further for when his contract inevitably winds up here..

I'm a bit scunnered o that argument to be honest. Hear it all the time. Being a footballer is a little bit different to working in an office.

The * was buzzing about a Scotland cap then laments having an "up and down year" on his Instagram. Well you know what son, how about you do something about it and you will maybe get more Scotland caps and have more "ups' in your career.

A football career is often a short one, and he ought to be busting his balls to make it a good one. A couple dozen appearances for Celtic doesn't quite set you up for life and he will realise that sooner or later.

No harm to him, he could probably make a good living down south, but I just don't like people taking a contract at Celtic for granted. And the reason I'm so vocal here, is because I wish it was me.

 

Aye his poor me attitude ain't going to get him minutes on the field. Hard work and commitment will.

With a £6k a week min salary, an outstanding 10/10 girlfriend why would ye move!

 

Because he could be signing on by the age of 40.

 

Think he's a boyhood Tim as well..

Should've been even more of an incentive when Lenny came in to go on loan and TRY and impress somewhere. You just never know as seen with the likes of Morgan...what hard work can do here or elsewhere for 6-12 month's..

Maybe he can try and push through a move to Tynecastle where he can be closer to his pal Naisy..

 

He'll be getting trials for St Roch's in the junior's within 4 year's..

 

That’s not going to do him any favours when he looks for a new club.

 

Probably best part of £10m all in for those 3 , with wages , fees etc.
Deplorable stuff.

 

Hendry £1.5m then 4 years at £25k a month - - £1.2m total £2.7m

Compper £1m then £72k a month for 18 months - £1.3m total £2.3m

musonda was £500k to end of season then another £2m was due for the next season but Chelsea recalled him so about

£5m all in if hendry sees out his deal

 

Fair enough if accurate. I thought the musonda deal was a lot more. Still a lot of money for almost literally nothing.

 

1.2mill he will earn while with us, not to mention any appearance, bonus, seasonal wins etc or signing on fees.
Not to count the Dundee money he will have made (not a lot to be fair). He will move on to a championship club and make a few quid as well.

Not bad money, not greatest he could make if he applied himself more.
But over the course of the next ten years he could easily be making 3mill+ in his career.

Outside of football, to make that sort of money, you'd have to be on approx 60k a year for 55 years from the day you first started working.
If he can make 3mill within ten years of football, you can start to see the thought process
