    Weird one. He's a great finisher and comfortable on the ball. But he's not particularly quick and he's quite small.

    Hard to see him making it here despite his ability.

    Would like to see him being loaned out to a championship or bottom Premiership team. Can definitely finish and has good ball control, think he needs a full season of senior football under his belt though.

    Same, hes an intelligent player, good technically and a finisher and holds the ball well but his lack of pace or height means he'll probably never cut it as a striker for us. Would need to play in behind as a 10 or off a striker like Stokes but Stokes had more pace and dribbling ability. Scott McDonald was good enough although he was a solid wee * and decent in the air for his size. Might be one of them he'll develop slowly and we could end up signing him back when hes 23/24 from another team in the League.

    Jack Aitchison is expected to join a Championship club on loan before the transfer window closes on Monday.

    The striker had loan spells at Dumbarton and Alloa last season but will now get the chance to go out on loan to a full-time club.

    Video Celts understands that a number of Championship clubs have enquired about Aitchison who hit the headlines in May 2016 when he scored with his first touch as a player to become Celtic’s youngest ever scored three months after his 16thbirthday.

    Dont understand why we dont loan our young players outside of Scotland more often.

    How often does anything come of these loans to championship and league one sides in scotland? Pretty much never.

    Jack Aitchison is set to join Forest Green Rovers on loan.

    The Celtic striker is poised to join the English League Two side in a deal until January.

    The Scotland under-19 cap is ready to head south to get more game time under his belt.

    Aitchison has previously had loans at Dumbarton and Alloa Athletic.

    Forest Green are looking for Aitchison to help spearhead their promotion charge.

    The 19-year-old became Celtic’s youngest-ever goalscorer when he netted in the win over Motherwell in 2016, aged 16 years and 71 days.
