    I'd imagine Toney is our first choice, but Ajeti would be a much easier deal to get over the line if he wants to come.

    Agree mate, English 3rd tier not really full of quality, even guys like wag horn could more than hold their own as a champions ship striker
    Could be a decent signing but certainly wouldn’t be paying anything over 5M

    @littlekennie I know mate just saying that the guy can be worth north of £5m despite being a league one player. Not saying he is, but he can be if his club deem him so. Doesn't mean I think it's a price we should be paying but for Brentford it looks like it is.

    I'd be shocked if Brentford are putting in bids for players the night before the biggest game in their history .. if they are, they are putting the house on being in prem and staying there.. fast forward three years and they will be in league 2.

    I do t know about that very well run club their I don’t see them getting premiership but I think they will be championship for years to come

    That’s kind of my point though he’s the same level he’s a goal scorer in a top six team in the spfl a standard that I’d say is comparable to bottom half of English championship if you remove Celtic and sevco .... he was valued at 2.7 million by a club but we are looking to pay over 6 million for a guy on last year of his contract

    Don't think any team outwith us and the huns would survive in the Championship. Cosgrove's record in England is 33 games and 1 goal, and only 1 of those games has been above League 2 level. He's chronic.

    I agree that I wouldn't want us paying £6m on Toney, but he's clearly levels above Cosgrove.
