I think he could go a job for us. After ballooning it over the bar early in the clip he does well. He’s got a nice touch is unselfish and athletic looking. I’m sure we would make him a better player

Can't help but cringe when people are saying "Over £3m for a league one player..." when the same folk would be going mad if someone bid £15m for Edouard. Ultimately the player is worth what someone is willing to pay and what the selling club deem am acceptable sum.

Fine we could spend £8m in other markets and perhaps get just as good or better for the money, but there's never any guarantees. Strachan has watched the lad first hand, some of his goals have been taken excellently so he clearly has potential there to work with, and he's tall and athletic at a good age for him to further develop. Plus the fact he's English means £PL teams will be watching closely how he would get on up here so there's an easy sale to be made in the future...

Madness to be turning our nose up at investing a decent fee into a player just cause of the league he's in :43:

Give them the money :50: He has so much natural ability on the ball and no fussing around in the box.

I know YT vids can be deceiving but it is obvious from that one he is a talented lad and I think he would do well with us.

I cant make my mind up about him. He has a nonchalance about him when he has the ball and he shows some really nice touches and link up play.
maybe league 1 is a bit too easy for him.
he seems to have a lot in his locker tho, scores different types of goals.

I cant make my mind up either tbh.

I just know that we dont spend a lot of money easily so if we do go to £8m or so for him we must trust the judgement of Strachan. And imagine Hammond was watching him last season too.

Seemingly presses like mad as well, which Lennon will like. Probably a part of why he’s picked up so many bookings.

He does look like he does a lot of good work outside the box from the video above. Bit of unpredictability about him..

I am more concerned about the fact that he is only 24 years old, and has already played for 7 clubs, all at a low level.

Édouard came out of an élite academy, and is the star player for a club that regularly competes in European competition and for domestic honours, and one of the best under-21 international sides in the world.

There is clearly no comparison to be made between the two in terms of pedigree.

He has some great qualities from the clips , he is calm in front of goal , has pace and good feet ,can score headers too ,if we could get him in brill , looks like a 7 or 8 mill player with bags of potential.

There is talk of Steven fletcher I know who I’d rather have. I think we should trust Strachan on this. We didn’t get henrik until he was 26 when his career was going nowhere. We made him we could do the same for Toney

I'm worried we will go the cheaper option with no fee to pay , I remember the celtic players in the scotland squad raving about fletchers touch and bringing others into the game , almost a Sutton type of player and I get how he could be really effective playing alongside edouard , and if we don't do this the huns will defo go for him , but i would rather we show some foresight and potential money from sale later from toney.
