Didn’t realise he only has 1 year left on his deal. Peterborough are clearly using the media to generate more interest and drive the price up but the longer window goes on the more keen they’ll be to get a deal done. No way will they risk losing him for nothing next year.

I think he would be a good signing. Watched a decent amount of footage and he would offer a lot. The only question is whether he can lift his game for the European games but look at players like Hooper and Vardy, they done it in lower leagues and continued to score at all levels.

perhaps not , think lawwell knows there may be no way back for him if we dont win the 10 ! New sponsorship , wreckon the money that we used for the keeper was money that was already set aside for forster, plus the keeper will be on a fraction of what forster would have got, if anyone goes it will be ntcham or ajer , bayo will be off either on loan or take a hit ,

With one year left on his deal £8m would be madness for us.

£8m in general for a league one striker would be madness.

Always thought this, they want to sign Scottish players at a complete insult price, then throw total farcical numbers at you trying to sign one of theirs.

It’s not just another striker we need we need 2 CB if Ajer goes.

Not sure who will be going but if the figures going around this forum get spent then it’s clear one of the valuable assets will be offski

I agree we all know what the board are like they only spend big if a big player is going and hope it isn't Eddie or this place will go into melt down .

They money on the keeper is the same money we would have spent on another Forster deal. We were paying more of his wages and a bigger fee this time

We need to move on this one.

If we are at 5 and they want 10 and neither are willing to budge we are just wasting time.

Other players we could be looking at

If we go two up top I think at that sort of cash he goes straight in with eddy but it doesn’t sit right with me signing a striker of the value tbh if we get Toney I would be 100% astounded if edouard is still here come 5th October!

All the striker links have made me wonder if eddys for the off as well but im hoping its a case of succession planning for eddy leaving next year. Maybe the board will surprise us and chuck absolutely everything at the 10. Barkas was a good start.
