Didn't even know they were remaking this!

Haven't seen the original in years, it was probably one of the first scary film I ever seen.

    Trailer looks no badd :50:

Looking forward to it. Watched the original "It" a few nights ago. A wee bit dated, but good nonetheless.

I'm scared they will ruin another classic.

Still get chills at parts of the original. Never really worry about them ruining an original of a film as such, will always give it a chance and if it's pish just won't watch it again.

I read a serious interview from a professional clown raging about the trailer, saying they were just getting over the damage done to their image by the killer clown stuff recently. Only time one of the creepy * has made me laugh.

I'll need to watch the original before this one.

some parts of it are genuinely scary, the acting at times is a bit wooden, and it's about 3 hours long, but worth it.

I'll give it a bash. Not really into horrors though.

I didn't find it scary...certainly no jump scares. It's a bit creepy but nothing major. Maybe it was scarier back in the day.

It's worth watching for Tim Curry's performance alone.

I saw it for the first time when I was a wean a few years after it came out, must have been about 8 or 9. Never get really scared at films but it's just creepy as * man, that picture scene still gives me chills if I watch if the now.

The original is an absolute masterpiece, they got it spot on . Genuinely frightening.

Looking forward to the remake but I know it won't be as good .

The first one certainly isn't a masterpiece, Tim Curry's acting is the highlight. The new one is supposed to follow the book more closely, let's hope it's a good horror which seems a struggle to find one these days.

Just saw the 2nd trailer on the NME site today, looks pretty * at the moment. Will still give it a bash when it comes out but have been put off a bit; looks like any other modern * US horror.

One thing that is a bit off putting is Pennywise seems to have lost all his charm and humour. Hopefully they're just saving that for the film.
