Him and Paddy McCourt are always the guys that pop into my head when Cult Hero’s are brought up.

Lubo as well. As soon as he trapped the ball with his *, that was it.

    Celtic great/cult hero?

Just a feckin shame injuries really did plague a lot of his time here. But definitley one of the most naturally gifted players I've seen at celtic.....and who knows what could have been if fitness wasn't too much of an issue

Would live it if someone could make a compilation of Tam from this season alone. Goals, passes and skills.

Lubo sits in a weird maverick class of his own for me :56:

NO, not a legend. He served us well and will be remembered fondly. I would have him in the same bracket as the likes of Alan thompson, sutton etc.. but definitly not a legend!

I voted Yes cause I love him.

But realistically legend status should be a really elite category.

    I'd say he's without a doubt a Celtic great.

A great player and gave us some truly memorable moments and one legendary moment. The term can be bsnded around too much, If we were to call Tom Rogic a legend where do we stop? Petrov, Jackie mac, naka, lustig, McGregor?

Over the course of his time here he had some real purple patches but he also had a lot of spells when he wasn't in the team, or in and out. Admittedly this was mostly down to fitness but sometimes it was just a form thing. On his game he was/is unplayable but was there a wee bit of a lack of consistency to be deemed a legend?

Thing is, there's that goal. Strip everything else back and there will always be that goal. The Invincible treble was the most historically significant thing this club done, in a single season, since 1967. Add in the way in which the goal was scored, the drama and the beauty of it, the iconic imagery of the celebration. All this means tom rogic will be talked about and lauded till the youngest of us who remember that goal are gone. It will then go into folklore.

That moment is, unarguably, legendary. For me, you can't separate the moment from the man who perpetrated it. If stevie chalmers had done nothing else in the course of his celtic career he would still be regarded as a club legend and I would say the same applies to Tom rogic.

Absolutely not. Gets banned around too much.

Cult hero but legend, not a chance.

Rogic isn’t close to being a Celtic Legend.

Legends are men who have or would give their lives work/careers to this club. Or some of the best players of their generations. Rogic had some iconic moments for sure, but he’s not in that category.

Poll results, four trebles in a row, massive part of 9 in a row, and an invincible season suggest otherwise.

And to be honest the best players of a generation aren’t going to be found playing in Scotland any more, and if they do they don’t stay here very long.

The nine best years of his career and turned down Arsenal to stay in Scotland?

    Pretty much fits your definition.

I get that this is the internet and all, but it's a silly debate. Some will give him legend status and others will feel he falls short. Matter of opinion.
