Too boring to keep adding Larsson, but it would be Larsson

 

Chris Sutton.

Wee Kyogo would end up like Larsson the amount of balls Sutty would feed him.

Yer Livingstons and St Mirrens could pack their defence all they wanted, the big man would still smash them!

Obviously the answer in every different form of this question is Henrik! Legend, leader, gent!

However, to stop this just being a boring love-in, I'd say we need player who isn't Larsson:

Wingback- McGrain. Always, he's my favourite ever Celt. Heart on the sleeve every time.
CB- Van Dijk. Loads of competition here, but he just stands out as the most technical and composed I remember seeing.
CF- Moussa. We've had loads again who would absolutely blitz this, but this lad was the most clinical and composed finisher I remember. He'd be on for the Golden Boot with the amount of supply we'd be giving him this year. Just seemed to make it look like he'd loads of time, every time when he got in front of goal. Him, Kyogo and in-form Rogic behind him is mouthwatering stuff...

CF- Sutton. He'd eat the defences alive with the supply we have and his strengths. We'd not be holding out in these 0-0 grinds with him upfront. As others say, him and Kyogo would be like himself and Larsson all over again...

 

Given how blatantly obvious it has been we need another striker this season it has to be Henke for me. The thought of what he and Kyogo could do as a front 2 (even though we rarely play 2) is pretty frightening. We could even live with our sieve like defence as we would be outscoring everyone!

 

Putting a few limitations on myself because the obvious ones are too easy.

Badly missing an aggressive, quality CB and a bit of bite in midfield.

Mjallby and Lambert would do wonders for this current team.

but bellamy was a different breed of animal here . id of loved to have seen how that one panned out on a long term deal. he would of tore the records apart
