It was never a penalty and I am shocked VAR flagged that up for the decision to be given.

It has given them ammunition. Like all of other penalties they didn't have an impact on the game. We usually get them when we are winning with ease.

Their controversial decisions are always when they need a helping hand.

    That last bit nails it..

We've all been saying we'll get one when we're 3 or 4 up to 'even it up'. They've gone for the against a lower league side we were always pumping..

That decision would never happen against the huns, especially if we were playing them or if we were nil nil against anyone in the league..

    We all know the script.

And before the season is out the Huns will have a penalty given against them so they can try to cover up that absolutely embarrassing stat.

I'm sure the refs would have liked to have given a token one against them already, but very tellingly, they haven't as all their games have been close since Mols took over. Funny that...

Never a penalty but we've had just as bad if not worse given against us. Refs are utter dung

Yeah they will cherry pick what decisions to give and what to let go, all depending on the context of the game, aside from the obvious bias they are totally incompetent across the board, beyond embarrassing.

It’s one of the top stories on the BBC sport website :giggle1:

It wasn’t a penalty imo, but I don’t remember any of ours being scrutinised so much.

Gifted a decision to try and take the pressure off them for their cheating.

If that’s a handball against Efe then the last 3 from the huns not given is laughable.

So true and what is even worse was Efe's handball in the second half where Clancy was not even told to go look at it again was a PK. The one early on never a PK. So in this game which we were going to win anyway they give us a PK which was a joke of call but they deny us a PK in the second half which for sure was a PK.

Assault on Maeda....saw it on Sportscene.
Yesterdays game second half, just before Mooy hits the post.
Haksa is sent up the left wing...watch Maeda arriving into the penalty box from the right wing.Shouldnt VAR be picking this up?
    Someone got the footage???

See the thing is though there is no mention that Kent got away with another one yesterday similar to the one on Abada at Celtic Park, he’s clumsy and clips Browns heels as he’s running across the box and knocks him off balance.

Ironically shorty afterwards Kent is caught just outside the St Johnstone box in the same manner and it’s a free kick. So same official same type of foul, same half of football, given once and let go the other. You can tell the way Kent throws his arms up in a guilty manner.

That was never a penalty, no * claimed for it at the time, and was only given to make the stats look better, fooling no *. However now that they have awarded that joke of a penalty, taken the time to view it etc, they are * for the next genuine claim we have and are denied - with no/very minimal var use.

No coincidence that the first contentious VAR decision that goes in our favour is in a cup game where we didn’t need it and didn’t want it.

The media are already giving it the ‘see.. these things balance out” push as expected…

I fully expect that to be it for us and VAR to do nothing but favours for one team in the league and cups for the remainder of the season unless we are cruising and it can be used as an ‘evening up’ the stats manoeuvre without actually benefitting us in any way.

UEFa should be all over the stats for our league as a six year old could see the pattern.

Only once the league is over … or if they are 4/5 up in a game and has no effect on result or points.

The cheating in Scotland is a disgrace but the way handball is decided now is ruining football everywhere to an extent. It's hard to score goals in football and these goals teams are getting cheaply with no good play being rewarded or bad play punished is changing the results of games. It happened to us against RM and that wasn't bias it was just the bad application of a bad rule that ruined the game within about 20 mins.
We should go back to it only being handball if deliberate or accidentally scoring with arm/hand or accidentally saving one off the line. Much simpler and fairer and less open to 'interpreration.' And the VAR/refs in Scotland would find it harder to cheat.
