just watched the last season 8 finale and overall after around a decade worth of seasons is been a good watch

Claire Dane is always excellent in it

 

Yeah it ended well, quite liked the way it played out.


Thought it got a bit ropey in the middle half mind you.

 

Loved the ending.

I was never sure how they would tie it up but that was class.

What a programme. It got a bit meh for me series 7 but they pulled it back with that last series.

 

Watched this all the way through few times now and it's right up there with Breaking Bad for me. Claire Danes is excellent and the ups and downs in Carrie and Sauls relationship is fascinating at times.

Would recommend it to anyone.

 

Watched the first three series and have enjoyed it. Five more to go.

 

Claire Danes acting was brilliant throughout the whole series. Her character Carrie always looked on edge due to being bi-polar and you never knew when she was going to "loose it" at times. The programme also, I believe, gave an insight into what really goes on politically in the likes of Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan etc. with some of the scripts preceding actual events such as the terrorist attacks in Paris and Russian interference in the presidential elections etc. Brillian show

 

Just got round to watching season 8 there. Brilliant.

Definitely one of my favourite series’ ever I think.

The contemporary nature of the plot lines is always intriguing for me.

Also always love how they take you through the ringer with the characters I.e one minute you dislike them, then you like then, then you dislike them again and back and forth. Big Yevgeny was a prime example of that, for me.

Overall, it’s a class programme and levels above some of its ‘competitors’ like Designated Survivor and House of Cards etc. (Even though I liked both of them).
