Homeland and breaking bad are the two best things on tv just now.

Go with The Wire. That's finished now so by the time you've watched all five seasons, you can come back and there'll be more of both Homeland and the Walking Dead.

Be patient with the Wire though, it takes a bit to get into it. Absolutely worth it however!

Homeland is brilliant. Damian Lewis and Clare Danes are both fantastic in it.

I'm watching Homeland just now, recorded the full first series a few weeks ago. I'd watch that before the Wire, because Homeland is still on and people are talking about it, there's more chance of you accidentally getting spoiled.

    Homeland - sounds good.

The Wire - my ol' man loves it (as does my bro), I've never watched a full episode myself.

Breaking Bad - never heard of it.

Walking Dead - sounds great, but I've never seen any of it.

You think? You could be right though, because of where the revelation falls in the story arc - it's too early for this to come out and there has to be some way that it won't see the light of day yet.

Yeah, either what I said, or that will just be the way to get Carrie back into the CIA, and Brody will be turned, again, to work against Abu Nazir. They've been making it seem a bit like he is conflicted (his whole 'I'm not a terrorist speech), although he had an easy way out last week when they were going to take out A.N. - which he decided against.

Finally got up to date, watched 6 episodes today. Brilliant program, hope it remains this good and doesn't fall by the wayside like Prison Break did after a superb first season when they started trying to extend the original premise to ridiculous lengths.

The plot thickens! I did think there was some groundwork for Carrie's return - i.e. that her instincts were right all along. It could be that they develop the plot along those lines instead.
