Done new York a few years back. Certainly worth it! New York in itself is a win.
Every bar in town geta behind it and the place is green. Even Hooters do green beer.

The parade is good, it's not all child/theme like the 4th, but its good!

Only down side is they * call it St Pattys day!!

Great bar in Berlin, just google- the pub Berlin, basically sit at a table and pour your own pint and order some rather tasty food from the screen at your table. Well worth a visit.

    Looks great.
Im staying at alexanderplatz as well, two minute walk by the looks of it. Add that to the St Christophers bar at rosa-luxumborg platz and I could be sorted for evening beers and a walk back to the hotel

Another good one we tried was the Alt Berliner biersalon, it's open 24 hours and is a huge place. We had a traditional dinner here washed down with a pint or two of the local brew :50:

Berlin is a great city, we stayed 4 nights and only scraped the surface.

    Enjoy!

Yeah was there couple years ago, felt the same way about barely scratching the surface.
Done the usual touristy stuff, but came home and looked in to more stuff and realised I missed a lot about what Berlin actually is today.
So hoping to see more of what the locals do this time.
