Like everyone else I’m desperate to get on a plane and land somewhere roasting for a deserved break.

With light now apparently glimmering at the end of the tunnel, what do we all have planned/booked/hope to go once we can travel again.

I was meant to fly out to Mexico tomorrow for my honeymoon, that’s obviously cancelled so I’ve booked in a 2 week holiday for me and the mrs favourite part of Greece in august. No flights booked yet and the hotel is pay on arrival just in case. Will book flights once travelling is definite.

    What’s everyone else planning?

I'm going to give it a miss this year going abroad and just do some filthy weekends away with the good lady.

Got a big birthday next year and really fancy doing a Caribbean cruise and spending time in Cuba if the world allows it.

Hope you and the missus have a ball when it comes round :50:

You been to Cuba before? It was a toss up between there and Mexico for us - would love to see Havana.

I've not planned anything. I'm not going to book anything until I'm confident it's going to happen. I'm not expecting a foreign holiday this year.

I think at best a few weekends away and a staycation. A lot of businesses will be desperate for the help.

Aye deffo, we’ve got a cottage a loch tay to use at some point. Had it booked for January before the 2nd lockdown so just need to wait for local travel to reopen. I’ve clearly not had the best luck with holiday bookings the past year haha.

Got couple weeks booked off in September, will wait till closer the time to see whats what and book something last minute perhaps.

If not, then I'll just take the time to see more of the UK and cheap it out till next year again.

Certainly wouldn’t be looking to go abroad this year. Could have one of they short notice lockdowns at any time anywhere. Rather book when it’s pretty much guaranteed to go ahead .

This year, benidorm!! Considering Greece for a 2nd one and hopefully Italy skiing in jan if not France. Then the following November Orlando or Australia. I feel more chance of Orlando though.

Might even squeeze a cheap all inclusive one to Turkey later on in the year when the weather can be good or dodgy.

Oh off to Newcastle for a weekend come first sign of shops opening aswel (unless scotland open first) Need to order a sofa since mines is held together by a random bit of wood I found after it snapped and the entire centre dropped in on itself :56:

    Spedos are ready!!! :56:

As Ryan Air once said before the PC brigade ruined it...

No * to go abroad this year but buzzing for when it does come, hopefully next summer. Wee man will be 3 and hasn’t been further than Southport.

I’ll be happy with getting mates round this summer in all honesty, if we have a good summer weather wise it’ll be BBQ’s and beers every week.

F*ck holiday's, I'm just looking for the pubs to open.
That's as far ahead as I can hope for.

I'm not going to bother booking anything this year, would rather wait than pay for something for this year that I might not use... going to wait until next year

Booked up for a week staycation at the moment in July for my 30th Birthday.

Not booking any foreign holidays yet but I will look to go if it’s possible late summer sort of August through September time but it will be a very late booking if it’s possible at that time.

I too am looking at honeymoons as well but they are for next year, getting married May 2022 so fingers crossed won’t have an issue with a honeymoon next year.

We have agreed it's pointless booking foreign holidays/trips this year but will hopefully get to explore a bit more of northern Scotland this summer/year, do the north coast 500 hopefully as well, if things go to plan. Tbh, after over 14 months now, I'll settle to just be able to see my family at some point this year.
