    just found this little piece on the bbc transfer gossip site, its from the sun but theres nothing about it on the sun website so there must'nt be much truth in it

    I would liked to have seen hinkel given a chance on the right side of midfield! best delivery at the club by a long way plus would do a fair bit of back tracking due to him playing in defence for past years! Great player with good end product that we just cant let go at this stage!!

    hinkel is the least composed german international i have ever seen. average would be overhyping him.

    None of the German papers or transfer sites have mentioned it, so I don't think there is much to the rumour. Schalke crops up time and time again because Felix Magath, who helped Andy make his breakthrough to the Bundesliga, is coaching them.

    I also cannot quite see him return to the Bundesliga just yet - from what he's said in interviews, he very much enjoys living abroad and soaking up other cultures, so I could very well imagine him joining e.g. a Premier League side. (Before he'll hopefully return to Stuttgart to end his career with us. ;) )

    Yeah I think its best for all of us inside and outside the club now. Will be sad to see him leave though always liked him. Hopefully we've got a winner straight away in Cha/Juarez to replace. Everyone rates them but you never know till theyve had a season for us. I like the look of the two of them tbh though

    I'm not sure of the wisdom to see off the players who had a part in domestic and European success at the club at the same time. We did it last year and coming into this year all that remained were HInkel, Boruc (gone), Brown, McGeady (prob gone) and Sammy. With Hinkel, Boruc and McGeady going you don't have much veteran leadership left and that is something I think alot of us overlook.

    If you have a look around on some Bundesliga message boards, you'll find quite a few people shaking their heads at Celtic signing Cha. He is a mediocre player at best and certainly no improvement or adequate replacement at RB.

    He's been treated very poorly by our manager if you ask me. Shoved into the stand in a key european game.

    His crime ..? Being in the last year of his contract. :rolleyes:

    Should never be sold, but looks like he will be. Massive gamble by Lenny if he lets him and Aiden follow Boruc out the door.

    I think we are way too impatient on players. *.....give the lads a chance. I know we are kind of spoiled but not lately.
