    Hinkel is definatly not in our champions league squad even though he has travelled to Portugal with the team. I for one think it was lennon's first poor decision and he will be badly missed as he was probably our most consistant performer last season. If its because he only has a year left then why not offer him a new contract because I think he has earned one with his performances.

    I'm sure Lennon has his reasons, but I'm disappointed with this. I rate Hinkel and think he deserves better than this.

    He is a decent player, and was consistant last season. But he is not the be all and end all of the club. Signed a replacement, and although we haven't seen much of Cha in the hoops, Lennon obviously feels it's right time for Hinkel to move on and wants Cha in that position. There was interest in Germany and if an offer of 1.5mil came in I'd take it.

    Now it would be * imo if Wilson is in and Hinkel isn't as Hinkel is a better player. Now that is surprising

    Not happy with this. Hinkel has been great for us the last 2 seasons. Shocked he is out but O'dea who is guaranteed to miss the 1st leg is in ?. Big pressure on Cha or Wilson now

    It says in the article that Hinkel has been told to listen to new offers but there are none so far. I get the impression he wants to stay.

    Think Hinkels Been Our Most Consistent and Best Player The Past 2 Years. But It Looks AS If Lenny's Trying To Offload Him Then By Not Registering Him in European Competiton So We Can Get As Much Money As Possible From Him.

    Would Rather He Signed a New Contract Tho

    looks like he is on his way out, we have to have to remind ourselves Hinkle has been good for us the last few season,but all in all the defence has been poor at the same time Maybe lenny wants to start new blood

    He is in the last year of his contract so when the option to bring in cha came along, Lennon probably saw it as good business.

    Just hope he leaves this window and we get a decent fee for him.
