Thank * the seasons over. Farewell to broony he will be missed. The new manager and coaching staff have a big job on their hands and need to get stuck in straight away. Will have to be quite blunt aswell and clear out/drop a lot of players.

Aye we won 9 in a row and the quadruple treble, and still let them catch us and dominate winning the league by 25 points. We both know that we should be light years ahead of them but * hour cost us.

We made one of the most forward thinking managers leave in February (due to Lawwell not getting the players that he wanted) during a season and offered the next manager the job in the showers and put the rest of the CV’s in a filing cabinet....

The same club that stood by and let this train wreck happen this season and give us the big * you after fans protested.

The more I think about it while writing this reply is * downright negligence.

Season is over let’s see if we appoint someone next week or will there be further excuses to why we can’t get the right man in.

Agree with all of that apart from Rodgers leaving because lawell wouldn’t get him the players he wanted- he was using us as a stepping stone to get back to the epl and as forward a thinking coach as he was apart from the 2 early ones dembele and sinky, after signing de vries , jack Henry, kouassi, commper, Gamboa, Benyu mulumbu and the likes a certainly wouldn’t have splashed the cash and trusted him with it

McGinn and the right back, plus getting 6/7 loans in that January window.

    Lawwell 100% * him over.

And we always knew he would have left but doing it they way he did was a massive * you to the board.

Edit - I’m not saying he got transfer right all the time but he was very forward thinking and able to get the best out of players.

And he is proving it again down south.

Also I’m pretty sure Rodgers didn’t want Shved signed either

not saying he’s a bad coach 2 things I’ve said are that I don’t think for a minute even if lawell had let him sign John mcginn n the likes, he would have stayed at the club and who’s to say John mcginn would have been a raving success either, guys like pukki, Joey Barton and the likes have looked good in England but couldn’t hack it at Celtic or rangers, he’s certainly a good coach and his main strength is getting the best out of the players he has, he doesn’t seem to have a great eye for a signing and I genuinely think first decent epl offer he got he was offski

I think he would have stayed until the end of that season and we would have been in a much better place.

If we would have signed McGinn and one of them right backs he wanted plus backed him better in that last window he wouldn’t have walked when he did.

Come on McGinn would have been fantastic for us and a natural successor for Brown. Barton was never good in England. Pukki was signed by Lennon who had no idea how to play him.

    Like Ajeti this season.

Lol! I’ve been very disappointed with him this season — regressed considerably. He’s went from a lynchpin and playmaker to a guy that looks like a clown running across a minefield. Frustrating player, to say the least!

Well, that was all very strange and abjectly miserable, wasn’t it? The legend that is Broony going out with a whimper on a dull, dreich day in Leith, too. Genuinely very sad. Fecking horrible season! It’s a disgrace and almost unforgivable the way things have been allowed to pan out. And, to compound problems, the future’s uncertain for our great club. I don’t think anyone could’ve anticipated this utter debacle!

An interesting wee stat that sums up our season and their

    Hibs v Celtic today
Hibs 0 shots on target. Celtic 9 shots on target

    score 0-0

    Rangers 4 shots on target
    Aberdeen 4 shots on target

score 4-0 to Huns, says a helluva lot about how not clinical we have been in front of goal and how much we need at least 2 really good strikers and as much as I hate the rapist it also shows the difference in having a good goal keeper
