Decided now on the actual day i am doing a fine Lamb Stew,a very fine one,some sort of sea food starter and later lashings of Cheese And Crackers

 

Get for 11am i will be just back with Ruby Boxer and we can can all have a * good few drinks before the starters

 

Christmas is the business and junkies are * scum.

 

There's a huge difference between * like Russell Brand or a Mac Miller shooting Fentanyl and snorting lines of prop funded by record sales and your regular Scottish scheme junkie. It's worlds apart, their penchant for class A is the only similarity.

You steal off friends, family, vulnerable or whatever then you are scum in my eyes, regardless what * you have been through.

Have had smackhead cousins in stealing off my dementia riddled granny, huge percentage of them are lowlife scum.

In what way? Brand was an addict before he was famous or rich.

You're entitled to that opinion and I'd never say someone was wrong for having it.

My personal view is that no-one in their right mind would ever choose to become a drug addict. There's a number of variables that play into the bigger picture that takes most there. The cycle of poverty, deprivation and poor education from childhood certainly plays a part. Mental healthcare provision in this country is abominable, some people who are struggling do not get the help they require and turn to destructive things to escape from their worries when they struggle to deal with reality.

I'm not in a position to judge anyone in that respect because I done similar with gambling and it undoubtedly affected those around me. It's not worlds apart. A vice that you struggle to control and the more it grasps you the more isolated you become.

The options are either try to help someone break that grasp, reach out to them and hope it resonates with them somewhere and they can turn their life around, like Brand did....or we call them all junkie scum, say none of them will ever be able to change and dump them all on the scrapheap of life, they continue harming themselves and others around them and no-one wins.

For me I'm convinced the latter is not the most productive way to deal with it but as I said earlier you're entitled to believe that.

 

Russel Brand was never an actual junkie just a * studenty * who thinks its fashionable to be a kid on smackhead.

If you want to know what the difference is find a proper junkball from Springburn or somewhere and try and get them to present Big Brother's Little Brother.

Firstly in that they aren't out stealing their little sisters Christmas playstation for a fix, breaking into gaffs, stealing from shops - It's worlds apart.

No *, in the most part, is forcing them to inject smack into their veins. No * is forcing them to steal off family/friends/randoms. Addiction doesn't excuse.

And no one (well I'm not) is saying they will forever be scum, or cant be rehabilitated. But that doesn't mean they weren't a dirty, low life, scummy junkie * when desperate for a score - Huge percentages are exactly that.

One of my said cousins lives a normal life now, wife, job, child - I'm fully aware of the capable rehabilitation. He chose to change his life.

 

Fair enough.

 

Used to love this time of year and didn't mind the long build up. It's a magical time.

It can all get Tae * this year though.
