I have 5 training schedules i downloaded last year from the si games forum and have used them with fm06 & fm07 with good success

They are GK CB WBS MC FW ,i slot each player into each category for their position but its a heavy workload for each and i allways have loads of players out ,last look i had 8 injured :38:

Can anyone point me into the direction of some good training schedule/s ?

    cheers

I tried using similar schedules before in FM05, its the caused of alot of injuries. I just use the standard schedules now.

The standard schedule does me fine, I just make sure that I've the best coaches to with it.

Increasing the workload on the standard schedules will have nearly the same effect as these custom ones but again heavy workloads cause injury, its a trade off I dont want.

I also there is no real advantage, the custom schedules are all about trading off some training for another depending on a player which will backfire

e.g. Centre half, given more defensive training than attacking, when he goes up for corners, he's more likely to header wide and that is if he able to get positioning or time a run because he hasnt practiced attacking that much.

Iv been using it for so long that the injurys havent derailed me much(cause iv been winning) but as you say the players training in specific schedules may affect his allround game

I had some good success with what iv been using but its time for a change (current liverpool team is doing bad for some reason and im down to the bare bones ).

Iv started up a juve game so ill leave the training as it is , I know you've said alot about getting in coaches ,How many you reckon i should have ?within reason .

Finally do you adjust each coach for a specific task ?

    cheers

I usually have about between 10-13 coaches, usually Im chopping and changing to get higher ratings.

Interesting, I have Paul Telfer as a coach now, 19 in attacking, fitness & mental, totally unrealistic :) but he gives me 5 stars in attacking.

What do you do about coaching?

Do you increase workload for preseason even?

You should get your cowboy hat regicfc.

Your results at the start of every season be erratic.

Do you realise that you are loosing money because of no preseason aswell?

yip , when you start a new season you really need the players to get use to your formation ,Tactics etc

You Really need 4-5 games pre season games otherwise like you say dempsey ,erratic games should be expected because the teams not practised or played to your style
