It would be helpful though if you could explain to me how I'm wrong. Please feel free to talk me through how a keepers long distance clearance works (rather than just say my interpretation is 'a load of *'). I clearly need educated as it seems to me that even the best keepers in the world regularly fail to land these long distance kicks at their own players feet.

Whenever I watch matches involving the games elite, it looks to me that the GK kicks the ball into an area and then relies on their teammate who is in that area to be brave and strong enough to win the first touch... and preferably knock it on to another teammate who's on the same wavelength.

Clearly it must just be the games I watch, but I'm looking forward to being educated by you.

That's Hearts *, no wonder, the amount of effort they've put in. We won't get three back though. They'll game manage this, take the sting out, go down at every opportunity.

The team have gotten used to playing the ball about the back without teams pressing them and they have gotten lazy in the defending

 

Feel for Rodgers tbh. He’s picked a team more than capable of winning ffs. Lazy * useless * believed their penny hype n didn’t turn up.
