Hasselbaink to Hoops???

Well, I aint sure on this 1, its been on the cards for a couple of weeks now, but here comes the speculation.

MON is famous for 1 big Striker, 1 small Striker. So, if hes looking @ Jimmy, then I dunno whats gonna happen there. You think sutton could play with Jimmy? I dunno. But then again, Hasselbaink with Amoroso alongside him, and Sutton in behind, sounds mouth-watering!

We have had a * of a time with Big John(Hartson), but, I dunno if MON will stick with him. He would fetch about £4million, at least in todays market, and that will pay 2 top class players wages for a year(those that are actually on a free). I would be sad to see Hartson go if he does, but I wouldnt hold it against MON as i've yet to see him make a mistake with players signings, and releases. Or anything for that matter!

We need someone a bit younger than Jimmy Floyyd - I say Robbie Keane. Very intelligent player and someone I think would do wonders for us!

A good signing short term me thinks although like dubsbhoy I can see him returning to Holland but like Larsson said we NEED to sign somebody and somebody of a decent standard aswell, the fans expect but the board cant deliver its pathetic.

 

I can understand your frustration with all the players that have left and none have have came in but I personally think we should be patient and trust in the knowledge that the business will be done in time.

Dont get me wrong I would like to see some action now but it looks like we'll have to wait for the minute

 

This time last year we were in the same posistion and we signed nobody much to the delight of the huns and the frustration of all celtic fans. That said we had a fantastic season and it was even more sweet known we hadn't spent any large amounts of cash. I don't blame people been frustrated we need a big signing soon there's been to many names been thrown around and nothing happening except if's, buts & maybe's i think it would calm everyone down if we signed a well known player sooner rather than later. Everytime my mind thinks of celtic having no larsson my stomach does a somersault but i have every faith in MON sorting us out with more trophies at the end of next season.

Theres a story on planetfootball where Martin O'Neill is stating that JFH wont be playing at the hoops next season. We have however had 3 different players linked with us today, Heinz, Jiranek and Wilhelmsson.

To be fair who the * can blame him for rejecting us. Firstly our unambitious, cheap board probably offered him the wages of a division 3 player. Ok ok we get in the champions league every season which could be an attraction to JFH but I dont know many big names who would opt for Celtic whilst Quinn and Desmond are running things. I said it last summer, and i'll say it this one to..SACK THE BOARD.
