100%.....these EPL fannies need to realise that whilst they can treat the rest of the game with disdain up here they're messing with a different animal when it comes to us. * 'em like you say!!

Sure one of the best managers in the game at developing players if not THE, especially young players,Sterling,Coutinho Sturridge etc then look at the players he's developed here too. Not our fault Musonda never worked out not every signing will i'd imagine Liverpool would be difficult to deal with anyway.

I predict that Liverpool are trying to punt him and try and get as much money as they can. Weird how hes only went on loan aged 21 and maybe not much thought of him before but because he done so well, Liverpool are possibly just trying to punt him for as much as they can while his stock is high. Some Championship club will probably pay £15million for him on the back of a dozen games.

If they were to loan him out next season and his standard drops because people know about him now then he'd be back to worth near heehaw and given hes not kicked a ball till age 21 Liverpool probably dont think much of him.

Not overly surprised at Liverpool’s reasoning. Roberts barely kicked a ball last season after coming back from injury and Musonda...well we know how that went.

We already have a number of wingers so Liverpool might be worried Wilson wouldn’t start regularly.

Brendan chased him for a year and praised him to the heavens when he was signed. He should have been aware of any problems like that.

Not the biggest fan of loans anyway unless its with a clause to signing such as Edouard.

Would rather Johnstone and Morgan got game time anyway.

Not interested in loans who have play-time clauses attached.

Morgan and Johnston have both looked good in pre-season so far and by all accounts Sinclair is looking fresher and hungrier.

I think Brendan would like another option in there, but we have good starting options in Forrest/Sinclair/Edouard in wide or inside forward positions so wouldn't be the end of the world to have two very promising young scottish players to rotate in and out.

We are going to need a new winger. Would be dangerous to rely on them.

I'd imagine someone will be bought to replace Roberts and Johnston will go on loan.

I'd be surprised if Johnston is loaned out, Rodgers seems to really like him and has always had him involved when he's been fit. I think had he been injury free the last 14 month or so he'd probably have played for us about 20 times.

The end of 2016-17 he'd likely have used him in the last 3/4 League games but he got injured the first one he played. He missed the start of last season but as soon he was fit Rodgers had him involved again even before playing much for the Youth team, then he got injured again but again as soon as he was fit Rodgers had him playing again until he got injured again.

Since he made his debut he's probably only been actually available to play in about 15 games(25 if you discount him getting fit with the youth team) and he's played in 5 of them.

Hate loan moves anyway.. especially without a buy option included.

Don't doubt his ability or Rodgers liking him but it's evident we are looking at replacing Roberts. Suppose that won't really affect Johnston as much anyway as he has often played LW I'm sure.

Not overly fussed, and see their reasoning. Paddy was weird as * near end Brendan practically refused him any opportunities and Musonda move was criminal.

    * him, * Klopp and * Liverpool.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this wee twerp ended up at der Hun, and news rags wanking themselves into a coma at this being some sort of scalp against us.

Whilst not being against loan-moves per se i can't help but think we need to do more than just keep looking for youngsters from the big clubs in England. We should be helping our own talented bhoys to break through instead of doing the donkey-work for the arrogant English teams. What does it say to Mikey Johnston, Lewis Morgan or even Johnny Hayes? Can we really not find a bit of quality for out wide and under 25 within our budget?

Roberts was weak and a poor defender, the time Roberts got fit we were settled into playing 3-4-2-1. We could have got away with playing Roberts but probably preferred to give Hendry run outs while being overseen by Forrest rather than Roberts who'd have put Hendry under more pressure in his settling in games.Rogic had also been injured and was just coming back for a run of games as well so we weren't going to use him there either.

Musonda was garbage, paper thin and passed the ball backwards for fun. Arguably the stand out worst performance of the year from an outfield player was when he played number 10 against Kilmarnock away and had the ball took off him, was fouled or passed the ball backwards every single time he touched it. He looked miles out his depth and it was probably the nail in his coffin up here.
