    Sounds like they may want HIM as the LB support. It'd be Scales, Taylor and him, with Scales and him able to slip into CB on the left too...

    All seems a bit too one size fits all in defence for me. Get a single, top notch, dedicated LB in to fix a problem, and in CB too... Let the 2 good RB we already have play their game

    This. I can understand getting players in who are able to cover a variety of positions helps the overall squad. However, when we have went through as big a rebuild as we have and we are still requiring another first team centre back and another first team left back, it's infuriating to see that instead of loaning or going out and buying the players that we need to fill the positions that we need, we are basically seeing what's available and trying to work out whether or not we can fit them into the position we actually need.
