Quick question - how come the following bet didn't come in (result was 1-0 to Soton)

I stupidly thought it would mean anything one goal away from a draw (i.e. 2-1, 1-0) would be good for me. Anyway I cocked up, should've been a cool £125 :smiley-laughing002:

-1 means it's a draw if the score is 1-0:50:

-1 always mean the team selected start the match with a -1 goal difference. So to win they must score at least 2 more than the opposition.

I don't recall selecting a team although I might be wrong.

You would have to have chosen a team, as you can only pick Team A -1 or Team B -1.

Makes sense, thanks all. Genuinely don't remember picking a team!

I think this is the same scenario except for Arsenal/Chelsea. What scenario would mean you win with the middle draw option?

My earlier comment was about this, -1 handicap means 2 goals needed
    more than the opposition

    Use these
    http://www.valuepunter.com/asianhandicap-table.htm
    http://www.betshoot.com/asian-handicap-betting

For football betting Asian handicap/lines are by far the best way to bet long or short term and make profit, as you get far more options especially for in-play betting where you can take advantage of momentum of the game. During In-play just remember that when you bet asian handicaps the score re-sets to 0-0 on most sites always best if using bet365 or 10bet or 188bet for AH betting. If betting in-play or pre-game - always look at the Asian odds first, as those are the real indicators of what the odds should be.

Also with Bet365 you will see 0.0,-0.5 that is -0.25 on the graph
and bet365 will use -0.5,-1.0 that is -0.75 on graph
0.0,+0.5 that is +0.25 on the graph
+0.5,+1.0 that is +0.75 on the graph

The reason they do this is bet365 doesn't list quarter goal handicaps as 0.25 or 0.75 so on 365 -0.25 is listed as 0.0,-0.5 and -0.75 is -0.5,-1.0 and +0.25 is 0.0,+0.5 and +0.75 is +0.5,+1.0.
