I know the goalkeeper left a load of space to exploit for the free kick but Edouard made it look easy. Guy is unreal.

Your right mate we’ve came back from winter break 3 potential banana skin away ties 2 on plastic pitches and 1 home game

    12 points from 12 , scored 13 conceded 2

huns came back with 3 fairly easy home ties and bottom of the league away

    7 points from 12

    scored 4 conceded 2
Really is superb and we really can’t grumble at all

Agree mate making your debut on plastic pitch, never easy, thought the bhoy did well did a cracking last ditch tackle in first half that was important

a like big Ajer but know wit you mean was a moment in first half, guys 6ft 5 , ball bounced about 2 foot aff the deck and he tried to flaff header like a big lassie that’s never played the game :31:

Looking back at their goal Jullien was too busy trying to hold the guy back instead of trying to get to the ball first and one of the other centre half also lost their man we really should be defending corners better thankfully we recovered and got the win

If there's one glaring weakness in our side it's that defence with regards to defend from set pieces. I can't say I'm comfy with any of them to be honest physically or in the air. Plus we play in a league where teams tend to use that tactic a lot.

    BUT

still 7 clear after not playing well I'll take it all day * long :60:

Now onto Fir Park and I'm beginning to think whilst it will be tough it may not be as hard as today with that * awful surface. We just don't do them do we!!

Another thing about today was the amount of corners we had and how many times we actually got someone on the end of them would be something to work on

Even though it was pretty close to the centre it was close to unsavable I think. Usually players just curl and * freekicks from that close with little power and if the keeper can get moving quick he maybe gets to it unless its close to the post.

Edouard battered that like it was a penalty as if there wasnt even a wall to beat went flying like an arrow right over their heads and was probably almost in before the keeper had a chance to think what was happening.

Gotta be honest mate, personally didn’t think it was a red but it was touch and go and if it was reversed we would probably all have been saying “ send the * aff “,

Thought Griffiths was very poor, his lay off s were going to Hamilton players and a lot of his corners weren’t clearing first defenders head
Plus personally as a penalty box striker predator you should be in the box at corners not taking them especially when you’re not that good at them
That said unlucky with the free kick

Griffiths is the best corner taker at Celtic so don’t know where that comment comes from

We've got morelos stamping on ralston and that went unpunished. We've got the Christie ball grab that morelos didn't get punished for when roles reversed. Takes 3 seconds of memory power to debunk the fat gardner

think a good few of the players dont like the plastic pitches and cant get their game going on them

i was even criticizing eddy for not getting his shots of quicker i think the ball runs away from you and the bounce is bizzare then youve got the trouble with running and turning on the surface that can give you ligament troubles

these 3g4g5g astroturf pitches are absolutely * and the game of football is not the same one as is played on grass

its a great leveler for the home team though as the saying goes

i understand why clubs want to use them in a wet and cold place like scotland especially provincial clubs but if were not careful every club will want these * monstrosities because they are easy to maintain compared to grass and bigger and better teams and their players dont like them

shouldnt have a place in a proffessional league

I’ve got the Spurs, Man City game on the background and an incident just happened that happened in our game today.
Defender went sliding in to block a shot and the ball hit his trailing arm. The commentators have just said its lucky as it should have been a penalty. The exact same thing happens to us today, ball hit Hamilton players trailing arm and the commentators say “oh well it’s not his fault his arm landed there”
Just shows the differences between the leagues when there is no bias.

Delighted on the way we came back today...albeit they went down to ten men.
Subs were used well...but most important thing for me was keeping the pressure on the Sevco mutants.......they are starting crack:67:

I’d be in a massive bed with Fiona Bruce, Kate Silverton and Judith The Weather having hours and hours of the most incredible spectacularly insane rumpy pumpy whilst quaffing Bolinger after receiving a message to say that Sevco had liquidated, The SFA and SPFL committee were all in a plane crash and a non masonic judge appointed correct liquidators to rid us of the *. All of the Sevco fans were neutered or sterilised so they don’t * breed, a statement is made that all children will attend catholic schools and all MPs and MSPs were in the same plane crash as the Scottish football authorities and the makers of McCoys Flame Grilled Steak Crisps had to make them all salty as *.
