He played well. Fast and assured and got a few balls in.

With hayes looking like he'll be out for a few weeks and boli still to come back Taylor has a real chance to stake his claim at LB, i thought he was good today,

More than anything it shows how weak we were. We shifted Tierney (and I think he will be a star in the premiership) but we are not weaker on the left, we just have more options. With Taylor, Bolingoli or Hayes I feel we are strong. Then on the right we have Frimpong, Elhamed and Bauer all 3 better than any option from last year. We sold 1 defender for £25m and let 3 go for free, bought 5 for around £15m and we look far stronger. Shows what good recruitment can do.

When I think back to last season, gee whiz, Gamboa and Izzy as back ups.

Last year we had the equivalent of a skinny quail in the full back positions.

Thia year, we are feasting on Turkey.... we have bolingoli, hayes, Taylor, El Hamed, Bauer, and the fabulous Frimpong!!.

    Spoiled rotten!

He was excellent yesterday when he came on.

The difference that the international games has made is huge.

Not put a foot wrong, was brilliant for Scotland too.

Deserves a run in the team, which it looks like he will now get.

Fek. Never even thought about that.

Hopefully one of Boli or Hayes is back soon then with the final just around the corner.

Wouldn’t feel as comfortable with one of them at LB. Hopefully Boli is back for it.

Far from ideal... we’ve went from having an abundance of Fullbacks to..

Elhamed, Bolingoli, Hayes all injured.. Taylor Cup Tied.. wonder if O’Connor will feature in the squad v County..

We could always go something like for the final..(if the worst comes to the worst)

    Forster
    Jullien Bitton Ajer
    Frimpong Brown McGregor Forrest
    Christie Elyonoussi
    Edouard

Doubt if NL would go 3 at the back for such an important game.
