If Killie have really said £3m then that’s the deal * right there.

Even £1.5m for him is too much compared to Melling. Norwegian international and vast European experience vs a guy who has had 1 decent season but part of a team pumped by Nomads!

I believe he means terms have been agreed with the club and his agent behind the scenes just as Arsenal done with Tierney. Because they knew he fancied it and would sign the deal they chanced it to hold out and knock a few £ off the asking fee. We're doing the same here. It's all histrionics.

Can only see it being Taylor in at left back, what's playing out in media is Celtics 1mill valuation and killies 3 mill. In truth a fair price for him is 1.5mill. throw in hendry on loan and move on. Pressure on killie here too to get this done.

Tierney - won 10 domestic trophies, spfl young player of year 3 seasons in a row.
Scottish international, champions league and Europe league experience, Captained celtic and Scotland.

Taylor - 3rd place finish with kilmarnock and got a game for Scotland cause the aforementioned KT and Robertson where injured.

Hendry apparently stuck on for Motherwell.

Probably part of the deal that will see us get Turnbull in January

Point is we had a basis for holding out for £25m for KT.

Taylor has done * all in the game.

£1.5m at the absolute max for him or leave him in hunville

It's not really a bad thing that Turnbull and Taylor can cost £3million each, it doesnt really matter to us and also it sets the bar high for SPL players probably outpricing the huns from ever getting any good player.

I do wonder if we would consider this guy had both LBs not been injured and then he called up once due to being the manager's buddy. It is literally his only achievment to date.

    Aye i don't blame them..

I don't think Taylor at 3 mill represents good value though..

Turnbull at his age and potential...does represent good value at 3..

We could spend 3 mill, less or just over and definitely get better than Taylor in my opinion..

McGuire i don’t mind paying £3m for Turnbull and imo that’s why we aren’t targeting a scam before the window closes. He will be on the Celtic plane for the winter training camp if he proves his fitness 100%

£3m for an guy that's only 21 and already capped, plus played over 100 career games is not bad really. Shame he's a hun * though.

Perraud for £1.8 million was much better value in my opinion.

Same age as Taylor but represented France at every age level up to 21s, bigger, stronger, more goals in his game.

With Lennon making a personal scouting appearance during last season, I think that's indicative of how much we fancied him.

I agree that he isnt worth £3m.. but to be honest im surprised that they have knocked back anything over £2m. They dont really have many assets they can sell and make money from, imo.
Brophy is out of form, Findlay isnt up to much for me, power looks pretty decent..

Only really O Donnell and Taylor they can shift for anything
