Im going for Seabass i think this might be the year that a woman jockey wins the Grand National...Will probably have a quid or 2 on an outsider as well...

Just plump for one completely at random, you'll have a better chance of winning :50: it's always some 66/1 outsider.

Thats a bit of a myth mate.In the last 40 years, only 10 winners have been 20/1 or over.........its invariably a fancied runner that wins!

I'm not betting this year though!

Aye, that is a real downer for me!I fear a few this year, as usually the firmer the ground, the more casualties there are....and this year the forecast is good to soft with good patches..........which is not ideal for falling into!
Heavy...when they can hardly walk at the end, usually results in very few casualties.

I cant mind the last time I watched it, it seems every year its at the same time as we're playing at home and im at the game. Think this is atleast the 4th time in a row this will have happened.

I was considering backing Seabass but I won't be backing it for the same reason you've outlined.

My tip is that they could get more interest if they replaced the jockeys with monkeys and the horses with tigers.
